I have been suffering from varicose veins accompanied by abnormal swelling of the left leg, especially foot. After having suffered for long years unable to wear shoes or normal footwear, a bad skin condition resulting from the varicose veins led me to Dr Gunjan Verma, Dermatologist, who first mentioned the name of Dr Vipul Dogra, CTVS or vascular surgeon. I looked him up on the net and decided to meet him. From the very first visit he made me feel relaxed, welcomed, in short at ease and very patiently explained the course of treatment culminating in varicose veins surgery that he proposed. He was open and honest and besides answering all my queries didn't keep me in the dark about anything during the treatment over two months or so during which attempts were made to bring down the swelling non-surgically, during the surgery, and post surgery also. Last Friday my surgery took place (left leg RFA of SSV perforators with SPJ ligation with multiple avulsion phlebectomies with vascular foam embolization sclerotherapy under SA) and today my bandages were fully opened and discarded.
