Today I went to Combined Military Hospital(CMH) Hospital from Mohakhali. The journey was easy -- I took the Dhaka-Mymensingh Road and got down at MES more. From there, you can reach CMH Hospital either by rickshaw or on foot. The hospital environment is very pleasant, clean, and well-organized, as it is run under the supervision of the Bangladesh Army. I received excellent and quality service in a very short time. The place feels truly suitable for patients, ensuring comfort and proper care. Overall, CMH Hospital stands out for its outstanding service and disciplined management.

Absolutely loved this place for environment qnd medical sevices. they also provide best great medical services ( :3 best for army officials). so many memories from childhood to adult.. Some were sad some were funny.. Also now it has great security.

Combined Military Hospitals are available all over the cantonments of the country. Combined Military Hospitals, Dhaka is located at Dhaka Cantonment, dhaka. It is the best health care services for active and retired personnel and their family's of the three services. There are all kinds of medical departments who have a motto that always we could not cure but we could care also. There is a cafeteria, CSD shop, canteen, pharmacy for both doctors, patients and all staff.The environment of the CMH is fantastic and neat and clean.

Placed on a backdrop of scenic beauty, Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka is the backbone of Medical Care of Army personnel not only in dhaka but all over the country. It has almost all types of modern healthcare facility like HDU, ICU, One Stop Emergency, CCU etc. But being Short staffed, both in clinical & non clinical staff, is its major drawback. Best Wishes

I think CMH is one of the best and finest hospitals in Bangladesh. It's controlled by Bangladesh Armed Forces. Doctors are well trained & highly skilled. Environment is very neat and clean and provided very good service. The whole hospital is divided into many parts department wise and covering a huge area. As this area is very restricted everyone can not get treatment from here. The whole area is wheelchair accessible. There is very good parking facility for private vehicles. There is a cafeteria for patients and visitors. There is also ATM booth for balance transaction. There is also mosque for prayer and pharmacy for medicine.

CMH-Dhaka : Critical Review Overall: Score 4/10 Primary drawbacks: " Not Patient Friendly " " No accountability for mistreatments " " Immune to medico-legal consequences,resultantly patients are handled without the worry of consequence " " Treats by seeing the rank or designation " Pros: 1.Critical Care and Emergency Management is good. 2.The ICAs in HDUs, CCUs, CCC,NICU are highly dedicated and empathetic. 3.The overall infrastructure is one of the best in the country. 4.There are canteens running 24 hours. 5.Two ATM booths. 6.A bus stand just at the main gate. 7.A public pathology Institute (AFIP). 8.BMT Centre, Cancer Centre and Burn Injury Centre. 9.Helipad, Mosque and Morgues. Cons: 1.Treatment culture is very poor. Does not aim to cure a patient. Rather CMH follows checklists so that they are process compliant. 2.Every nook and crannies of CMH - ORs wards, Officers Ward, Lifts, Any reception, waiting area, Doctors chambers are FILTHY, DIRTY AND UNHYGIENIC. 3.CMH staff - Doctors to Ayas have no sense of cleanliness. 4.Any AC anywhere in CMH is extremely dirty and is enough to spread particulate matter, airborne germs and toxic aerosol in the compound. 5.Emergency Care Areas like CCC/CCUs are infested with mosquitoes. 6.THE CMH CANNOT HANDLE OR TREAT ANY COMPLICATED PATIENT - THERE IS ALMOST ZERO HISTORY WHERE A COMPLEX CASE WAS RECOVERED JUST BY SINCERE EFFORT. 7.OR Gynae doctors do not counsel the would be mothers on lifestyle. 8.The parking waives parking fees for people who are 65 and above. What a Joke! 9. There is a huge delay when transferring emergency patients to wards (once recommended by the doctor). Usually, it is informed from the wards that there are no empty rooms, while in reality there are plenty of empty rooms always. 10. Food is not at all patient centric. Its generic food. There's a senior dietician in CMH, who does absolutely NOTHING. 11.When a patient is admitted - the doctor does not come instantly, the BIG shot doctor comes when he feels like coming. The doctors absolutely fail to realize that the patients wait for the doctor to come and talk to them. 12. Culturally - CMH is NOT patient friendly.

My uncle was a retired army officer and also a freedom fighter. Now if I show his reference, will I get more benefits than other patients? Please tell me how the process is.
