Dr. RS BaliMed Karangasem

Worst hospital I have been too in my 12 years in Bali. My review is based on many years of experience with this facility. DO NOT come here if you care for your health: physical or mental. The doctors have no clue of what they are doing.

My Wife went to Bali Med hospital on 20/5/25 to see a specialist in regards to having a blood test & was told she had mild gout. The specialist prescribed her medication which made her very nauseous to the extentof vomiting & made her very dizzy & extremely fatigued after I googled her new medication it was totally the wrong medication the specialist prescribed her medication for epilepsy, OMG this so called specialist doctor is totally incompetent prescribing the totally wrong medication. After another google search to see if her medication was for mild gout it said this medication is not prescribed for this treatment. Luckily I googled the medication as it could have made her very ill & could have been dangerous to her health. My opinion stay away from this hospital, she will never go back there again.

For be sure ; Balimed is one of the good private hospital in our regency ! Nurse and dokter is good service.. Room toilet is clean. Thanks for nice service . Recommended.

Can't review nothing about the healthcare facilities here cause thank God I wasn't here for checking up or got sick or got any disease but just picked up my lady from work. And absolutely I have to be objective according to me and I can't review according to someone else's thought, can I? By the way, this hospital has a public store which located right after the front parking lot and literally across the Emergency Room. This public store sells many kinds of things from snacks to instant noodles, from burgers to real food, from soap to baby diapers. I recommend you to try their burger. It's really a burger with bun, salad, ham, and tomato, but put your expectations lower. It's only a IDR 6k burger so you know what I mean, right? But it's really worth it when you're hungry. They only have no more than 10 burgers per day but I mostly ran out of it when it was still 8 in the morning. For those who are using motorcycles, you can park your bike on behind. Just ride your motorcycle along the way to the back. You'll find it since they only have one way.

i went to Balimed this morning getting a stomach ache and diarrhea, but they said that there's no treatment for diarrhea and asked me to go to my 1st health facility, on the other side i was getting weaker. Better go to RSUD and i got some injection for my stomachache and medicine for my diarrhea

The waiting time to see a doctor is ridicules! They do not have any WhatsApp service or online appointment service; therefore one has to show up in the morning to register... you get a number and already 40patients are in front of you. 6hours waiting time to see a doctor; this is just out of the world. Better go to Siloam Hospital in Denpasar.

Watch yourself as if you'll need farther treatment such as a surgery they will do everything they can (including lying, not answering the insurance's emails or calls and providing false information) to deliver you to Siloam hospital in Denpasar, they probably get a nice commission from it. I was lucky enough to know it's not a good hospital to undergo surgery at so I insisted for hours, with a severe fracture, to go to a hospital on my choice that I knew is better, and after hours and hours they agreed to discharge me. Don't trust the administration team there, neither the doctors.
