I heard lot about Dr. Karlo, so i went to him for treatment of my 9 month old son . I was surprised to see long que and i was given token number 43. I waited more than 2 hours, luckily my son was sleeping otherwise it would have bern very difficult. Finally when I met him, I found him very rude, impolite and I don't know for some reason he was extremely in hurry and was getting irritated by every question I ask. He shouted at my wife also. I know many of you may disagree with my experience, but I swear , I have never seen such rude doctor. I guess may be he was exhausted to attend more than 50 patient a day... But let me tell u, being a Doctor, either u attend 50 patients or 1 patient you have to be polite and should listen carefully to your patient. If your endurance level drops after attending several patients than better you attend limited patient in a day. See, what I experience; 1.I came from Lekhi, u know pathetic road and traffic conditions, It took me more than hour to reach BTM, there I paid Rs. 500/- consultation fee. 2. I waited for more than 2 hours at hospital. 3. Again I have to drive back to home . 4. Me, my wife, my 9 month old son suffered almost 4-5 hours. In return we got 1. Two minutes consultation time. 2. Rude behavior. 3. Arrogant attitude, both nurse and doctor. I'm not sure whether I'll visit BTM again or not, but i wish such circumstances not to arrive. My motive of writing this review will be fulfilled if, after reading this review, he and his team takes necessary measures and behave politely to all patient.

Pros. Doctors are one of best of them.. getting treatment very well.... Cons.. 1.Parking place is too congested during office hours. 2. Cabin provided for us is too small. 3. Water supply for bathroom is not clean. I had skin allergy in just one day. 4. Every Medicines are not available. So had to buy from outside which are quite far away from Hospital. 5. And most importantly, CMAAY card is not at all accepted here. Only with huge amount of money or cash in hand can treat here. I hope we find these problems sorted out for general and poor public in near future...

If your child has sickness or any problem and want to be treated. This is the only place. A friend of mine took his daughter to Guwahati but couldn't find the problem and finally get treated in BTM. Now she is healed and not sick anymore. Forget about conjusted parking during busy hours and water facilities in common Washrooms. If you care about your child you must come here.

This is in reply to person named TANGA MAKCHA in previous review. The department of Child has reviewed the complaints and given their consensus version : 1. Mr & Mrs Makcha were already in foul& combative mood at entry to opd. They immediately showed their attitude to the Hospital Attendant without delay. 2. The doctor found them inattentive,cantankerous, entitled and paranoid. They were interested in massaging their ego than in any treatment. Naturally the doctor became exasperated. 3.After leaving the OPD both parents conferred, then came back to quarrel. The doctor, to de-escalate the situation apologised immediately without conditions for any hurt feelings. 4. Inspite of this Mr Makcha went to the Pharmacy and threatened to assault the doctor. This is a legal offense but the hospital let it go. 5. Not satisfied with this, Mr Makcha is now defaming the hospital here. The hospital has all evidence preserved . In view of the above, Mr Makcha appear to be a mentally unstable person and need not visit our department again unless he has proof of counseling his anger issues, and a police undertaking to desist from violence.

Located at Pappu Nallah, about 700-800 meter away Yupia Tri-junction while coming from naharlagun turn to left side after going about 500 meter there is two way you go to the lower road and after about 200 meter your destination will be at your right side. It has the best child specialist in town and a small children friendly park for children while waiting for your turn. It a little bit congested during busy hours due to lack of parking space. Pharmacy and Dhaba is also available there where you can refresh yourself during a long waiting period.

It will be good if the pharmacy is open regularly. We have to call the pharmacy boy and wait for him for any medicine. He is irregular.

I don't want comment on infrastructure and management system here. The only reason I visit BTM is only because of Child Doctor, Dr Karlo. The only medical Doctor you trust when it comes to child.
