Dr. Dr. Arnab Datta

ALERT: Suspected Medical Scam at The Care Hospital, Uttarpara by Dr. Arnab Datta I feel it is my moral responsibility to share our recent horrifying experience at The Care Hospital, Uttarpara, in the hope of saving others from going through the same. No other family should suffer like ours did. We admitted a patient with severe chest pain on Sunday night, under Dr. Arnab Datta (Cardiologist). The RMO did an ECG and said the report looked very bad and insisted we admit the patient immediately. From Sunday night till Tuesday morning, no doctor visited or checked the patient in person -- yet, they charged us 2000 per visit, 5 times, for "doctor's visits" that simply never happened. No RMO or doctor was present to address our concerns. Only nurses and sisters attended the patient. Whenever the patient screamed in pain, they pushed painkiller injections without any doctor supervision. When we questioned their treatment procedure, we were told: "In house patient's reports are sent to the doctor in his OPD chamber where he checks the reports and instructs nurses to act accordingly." In other words, the patient was never physically assessed by the cardiologist. Absolutely no in-person evaluation was done. Most shockingly, no ECG was done on Monday, yet we were handed a questionable ECG report (possibly of another patient) and they charged us for it. Despite the severity of the first ECG (as per RMO), no Echo test was conducted even after 48 hours. Reason given: Doctor had no time. He was extremely busy with OPD patients. The pharmacy bill included 4 adult diapers, protein powder and majy other medications but none were given to the patient. The showstopper: A Holter test was done during the stay, and the report was due at discharge. But now the hospital says: "The doctor is not satisfied with the report, so he won't give you the report and is asking for a new Holter test to be done." My question is -- regardless of whether the report is "good" or "bad," don't we have the right to receive ALL test reports that we've already paid for? This is completely unethical and unacceptable. Based on everything we've gone through, I strongly urge everyone to avoid The Care Hospital, Uttarpara, especially for any cardiac treatment. Please don't risk your loved one's life in such an environment. This place appears unsafe for cardiac treatment. I cannot speak for the gynecology or other departments, but if you value your loved one's life, please avoid The Care Hospital, Uttarpara, for heart-related emergencies. Please share widely and stay alert. Awareness can save lives.No one should suffer due to such negligence and unethical practices

Very bad professional team ... Myself a doctor .. but staff is so unprofessional... They don't know even timing of simple test... And make you come all the way... And say that ohh by mistake I did this... They should change the whole team ... Very rude and I'll behaviour... Don't know how to handle patients also.... Just to maake money... Totally money minded professional

He is less doctor more a businessman. A good businessman always behave well with his clients, but this doctor don't even know that. Avoid if possible.

Very bad experience with this doctor in the year 2023..did my father angioplasty with out any experience unsuccessfully..later we got to know from other hospital doctor there was no need of that.. patient is any biology lab test thing..fully money minded

He is one of the most greedy doctor. He can do anything for money. He will not even care for patient's life. He killed my mother during angioplasty in Nightangle Hospital. He don't even know whether the patient's body can accept the procedure or not.

Nonsense arrangement, arnab datta is the most careless, greedy, unethical,bad doctor i have ever seen please do not visit that nursing home... Bad bad bad experience...

Very unprofessional doctor and careless attitude. My aunty died because of his wrong treatment. Don't go to this doctor ever!
