Dr. Maharaja Agrasen Hospital

This is the WORST hospital experience we have ever had. My mother was in pain, but the doctors did not care, and the staff and guards were extremely rude. We waited for HOURS with no updates, no clear answers, and no one explained anything to us while my mother suffered. It felt like they just wanted our money, not to help. The doctors were careless and did not even speak to us properly. They showed no humanity or respect toward patients or family members. I am warning everyone: PLEASE DO NOT go to this hospital if you care about your loved ones. It is unsafe, unprofessional, and inhuman. Patients deserve care, not to be treated like this. Until this hospital changes, I will never recommend it to anyone."

Maharaja Agrasen Hospital is good but this hospital is not for some poor people here. Before getting admission, any patient has to pay 40 thousand taka and then get admitted. Which is not convenient at all.

I had my C-section delivery at this hospital. The doctor "Biswas Rudra, who performed the surgery was excellent, and overall, I had a good experience in that regard. However, my stay in the gynecology ward was quite disappointing due to the staff's behavior. The nurses were extremely loud, often speaking on the phone or to each other without any consideration for the patients' rest or recovery. One night, I requested a nurse to turn on the AC as I was feeling hot, and she rudely responded that I should get used to the heat because I won't have an AC at home--an uncalled-for and insensitive comment. Staying in the gyno ward felt like a nightmare. I had to request and beg for even basic assistance. The night shift staff, in particular, lacked empathy and professionalism. They need to be trained to speak softly, be more considerate, and prioritize patient comfort over their personal convenience. I truly hope my message is taken in a positive spirit. As patients, we go through many emotions and physical challenges, and a little extra care and kindness from the nurses can make a big difference. We just wish to have a peaceful and joyful experience with our newborn in your care, and we kindly request your support in making that possible.

We had a very good experience in this hospital. we went there for a gallstone surgery and the Doctor Dr.T Nagendra Babu was so cooperative and the best hosptal management to take care of patients treatment and prices. Thanks for the great job and great vision to established such a hospital in town.we are proud of it. Thanks

A good infrastructure does not suffice a hospital .The staff is very disorganised and the doctor is not punctual . I came here for a checkup and a CT scan and they asked me to remove my earing so I asked them to cut it (it was in a ring shape) and firstly ,they don't have a single scissor in the hospital , i as a patient had to go another jwellery store to remove it and waste my time . Secondly, they charge 20 for a report file cover even after registration and doctor fees , says that you get the cover only on the first registration and I am also not sure if the manager on duty or the helpline numbers (IPD Indoor patient department)would work

Reasonable price but better treatment facility. All staff members' Behaviour is very good including security staff, nursing staff.

It's a new hospital with great infrastructure and situated in Phulbari Truck terminus away from the city. I found this hospital to be very neat clean and can be better in the near future. My mom was admitted here, on the internet it shows it's a full fledged running hospital with all the fecelities but I don't believe this is the fact. Incase of emergency, I would not recommend anyone to admit here. Although the hospital must be trying their best to match the service standard but the staff seem to be very new and not that organised. I came across few staff members and nurses to be very helpful but some were utterly dumb and indescipline with lack of skills. It can definitely be the best provided there are good specialists. This hospital has several temple and offers gust house to the ones admitted at a very subsidised rates. Overall experice during my five days stay, this hospital is ok ok and as I said it can definitely become the best.

Maharaja Agrasen is a very well maintained multi speciality hospital located at Fulbari. Various experienced & best doctors are available here specially in medicine, neuro and cardio department. The OPD as well as emergency ward are well developed. All the staff of various departments are very helpful and cordial. This centrally air conditioned hospital have ample facilities for visitors like sitting arrangements, drinking water section, ATM facilities, a very good vegetarian canteen & cafeteria etc. The overall treatment cost are affordable & swastha sathi card also approved here. I specially thanks Dr. Surendra K Gupta Sir, one of the best neurosurgeon of Siliguri for his constant positive vibes and supports. Highly recommend Maharaja Agrasen Health Care Center.
