Dr. Dr H S Pathak

I visited this doctor(DR. H.S PATHAK) recently for my mother, who was experiencing symptoms of high blood pressure. Unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing. Firstly, there was a long queue of medical representatives inside the doctor's chamber, which delayed patients significantly. Even after our turn came, we had to wait further. When we finally saw the doctor, he seemed distracted, constantly busy on his phone and with other matters. I understand doctors have a lot to manage, but he barely examined my mother, simply writing out a few tests and medicines without properly checking her condition. When I asked about my mother's blood pressure, the doctor just said it was "normal" without explaining further. Later, when I showed the prescription to the compounder or assistant, I also asked about the blood pressure readings. He could not answer either and insisted we get the test done immediately. When I told him we would do the test later and instead asked what medicines were prescribed, his behavior turned rude and unprofessional, which was quite upsetting. After reaching home, I measured my mother's blood pressure at a different place, and it showed a very high reading -- which could have been dangerous if left unchecked. I am completely dissatisfied with the doctor's approach, lack of proper examination, and poor communication. Ignoring high blood pressure can be fatal, and I feel the doctor's negligence could have put my mother at serious risk.

Dr.H.S. Pathak is a doctor of Medicine. He is ex Professor and Head of the Department of medicine in JNM medical college & Hospital Kalyani. He is having a good diagnostic eye. He is the resident of Naihati. Currently he practice at his resident on every day morning. He is also attached with BMRC Barackpore and does chamber in the evening at taltala just beside BMRC. His son Dr.Ankan Pathak is also a doctor of internal medicine. He is currently attaches with JNM Hospital Kalyani and practices at Naihati resident in the morning.
