Dr. Narayana Hospital Barasat

I am extremely disappointed with the excessive parking fees being charged at this hospital. While the medical services may be satisfactory, the additional burden placed on patients and their families through high parking charges is unfair and exploitative. Hospitals are supposed to be places of care and relief -- not commercial spaces where even parking becomes a source of revenue. Many people come here in emergencies, and having to worry about paying a steep parking fee adds unnecessary stress. Parking should either be free or nominally charged for patients and their attendants. Instead, what we see is a lack of transparency and basic consideration. They Charged Rs.10/Hour for a Bike, which Rate is not in proper Kolkata & Hospital .Infront of RN Tagore Narayana(Mukundapur,Kol) parking Rate just Rs.20/full Day,,but what a shame for Barasat.

Five stars to Barasat Narayana Multispeciality Hospital! My mother, Ila Talukdar (MRN ID: 17600000107007), recently underwent a successful Total Knee Replacement surgery here under the expert hands of Dr. Seshadri Sen and Dr. Subhas Das (Anaesthetist). The entire process--from admission to post-op care--was seamless and comforting. Sister Rumi - Ward In-charge, whose warm care meant so much. Shilpi Deb - Senior Executive Officer, ever supportive and approachable. Rohila Chakraborty & Barnali Das - Friendly and efficient at the OPD reception. Their dedication and empathy truly made a difference in our experience. Suggestions for enhancement: More seating arrangements at the OPD for patients and attendants. Green initiatives like indoor plants at kiosks. A large, visitor-friendly digital dashboard for updates & directions. Soft, soothing music in waiting areas. A more charming and welcoming main entrance to lift patient morale. I had a good experience at Narayana. The staff was professional, the doctors were attentive, and the facility was clean and well-organized. Waiting times were reasonable, and the treatment process was explained clearly. The nursing staff, in particular, was kind and supportive throughout. Overall, I felt well cared for and would recommend this hospital for quality healthcare.

Very good hospital.. from day 1 to discharge very nicely guided. Bypass surgery was done for my patient. The behaviour of doctor and staff is very amazing.

Good management staff and doctors are also very good. Especially Tithipriya Das is phenomenal she handled us in our panic it's really nice of her Also OPD's nurses are very good & management students are very cooperative

The doctor Manikk Lal Thakur is very attentive nd polite but the staff nd the assistants is pathetic. After explaining my situation nd being on hold for more than 15 minutes they just keep saying the same thing not even listening my complaint. They are not even responding to my concern and blabbering on that I have to keep my patient in an ambulance and come to the hospital if she is having fever but they wont discuss the matter with the doctor and helped us out. Its just a tactic to make money out of a 75 yrs old grandmother who is already battling with her condition.
