Dr. Dr. Tirtha Pratim Purkait

Dr. Tirtha Pratim Purkait is a very good doctor. He is very logical, has a good clinical eye and takes care to interact with the patient, explaining the situation. He is quite caring too and the best part is he is accessible so patients can contact him in emergency.

Absolutely problematic and no manners doctor. Dismissed me and my medically diagnosed chronic illnesses as anxiety, where I have been in 8/10 pain everyday. Ignored all my pleas for physio or medical help. Being a doctor, it was a disgusting way he spoke to me, asked irrelevant questions about educational experience, called me too sensitive and overthinking and having anxiety is the reason for pain when reputed cardiologists, respiratory doctor, gastroenterologist and a 5 day hospital stay somewhere else diagnosed me with chronic painful conditions that will last forever. I recommend women NEVER go to this doctor unless it's a basic issue like diabetes or asthma. He doesn't even give a referral and when asked for help for referral or something more to rule out any issues, he refuses tests until you get them done at Ruby, and yells at patient parties for 'trying to be smarter than him'. I would've become disabled if I listened to this worthless imposter and didn't go for a second opinion for treatment. 0/10.

Visiting Dr. Tirtha Pratim Purkait for my wife had very much served the purpose. My wife's health problems were clearly diagnosed and with the medication prescribed by this Doctor, my wife has regained normal health. I am really greatful for the medical advice rendered to us which has helped my wife to tackle her health issues (diabetic and heart related) successfully.

Not recommended at all. He will leave no stones unturned to humiliate and de motivate. To top it all, he will misbehave if you don't get your tests done from ruby, even if you are getting it done from other reputed clinics. Don't fall for the trap of these so called positive google ratings.

I visited him for mother. She was facing stomach issues for last many years. Under medication from Dr Purkait, she is doing fine now. Thank you

He treats well, but i find him a bit professional nowadays. He tries to push his patient to Ruby hospital even if they don't want to, which is quite disturbing and his behavior will also change if you don't do so.
