Dr. Dr Swastik Purkait Best Kidney Doctor (Nephrologist) : Narayana Multispeciality Hospital

My husband is a CKD patient we went to this doctor since last year he is being treating him for first few months his treatment was good even creatinine level has came down then around september his creatinine level suddenly increased due to what we don't know even doctor told may be due to cold and cough it has increased then he gave a tablet called wysolone after taking this tablet his creatinine level has drastically increased from 4.9 to 7.83 then he advise to do fistula Operation and dialysis then we thought to take another opinion around 3 nephrologist we showed all of them are saying wysolone is not recommended for the patient who has high creatinine and this is a trial drug and that means he was experimenting on my husband as if he is the rat in lab anyways I have done one mistake by trusting him blindly please who going for checkup please think twice before believing him

Very good doctor

Never in my life I experienced a specialist doctor listening and answering to a patient for 30 minutes! My father is way too talkative and extremely nit-picking, we went to consult regarding the ongoing medicine prescribed by another nephrologist way far off our home, so needed a second opinion and a location nearer. He not only answered all the questions, but also congratulated my father for maintaining a disciplined life in the most positive manner. We have a re-visit planned next month. I am not sure how things will turn regarding the CKD which he is suffering from, but the patience Dr Purkait showed while answering all the questions, explaining which medicine is used why etc. not only reflects his good grasp on the subject but also a great upbringing. This was solely based on my personal experience, but one thing I can assure is HE IS A GREAT LISTENER, a quality which is declining day by day. Thanks!

Don't know who got well treatment from him. Hopefully they are lucky enough. But I wanted to share my recent experience after taking multiple consultation from him for my mother in law. Who had been referred by Dr.abhishek (gastroenterologist-dont know how he become the expertise on this subject) stating she is having kidney issue and based on that we been to him ... without checking prior all diagnostic reports (better to say not bothered to check those reports, so confident he is ) he started treatment for kidney malfunctioning and advised to take multiple very very costly injections which impacted 0 improvement of the patient rather my patients is getting deteriorated. On 21-9-2024 ....we have taken second openion from Dr Suchanda Majumder for her unbearable conditions and while she checked the previous reports she found there is clearly mentioned some cists are visible at liver and advised for CT-Scan but this Dr S.P. so over confident about his clinical knowledge and based on that he started treatment for my mother-in-law for Kidney as a result she is going to die.....so request you all don't depend on his treatment and always try to take secondary opinions else you may lost your precious person. I spent huge money on him and medicine but result we got complete a big ZERO. Thank you.

"He is a confused doctor"-this are not my words , after seeing his prescription particularly prescribed medicines, test reports etc. a senior reputated doctor from TATA MEDICAL CENTRE , Rajarhat said that on 7th October,2024. His diagnosis and prescription made doctors apprehensive and very disappointed. Diagnosis done by him was very doubtful. He prescribed medicine without proper diagnosis.It is completely waste of time, money as well as detrimental to health.
