I have been visiting Dr Soumya Kanti Dutta since 2019 to consult for my mother. First of all he is very humble person just like my elder brother. His treatment for my mom was very effective. After my mother's cardiac arrest, I have consulted with some other renowned heart specialist in Kolkata as well but his way of treatment was very effective for my mother. Now after 6 years he is our family's first choice in case of any heart related problems. Feel free to reach out to doctor, he is so capable to help you.

This review is not intended to tarnish anyone's reputation, but only to share what I experienced. If you can't read through this patiently, in short he actually resulted in my grandmother's untimely death through his negligence and unprofessionalism. In the month of February we had visited him for my grandmother's treatment. Probably due to her increased age, he was extremely negligent from the first moment. Basically he misdiagnosed my grandmother and prescribed multiple unnecessary high dosage medicines without any careful observation. He was least bothered to even check one of the ailments and misguided us into believing that it was minor issue. He was extremely unresponsive throughout the 2 months of his treatment duration period, whenever we tried to contact him about the adverse effects on my grandmother's health. In fact his assistant also showed sheer unprofessionalism throughout. My grandmother's health deteriorated terribly during those 2 months and after being ignored for so long, we finally switched to a new experienced doctor who treated my grandmother and she recovered to a great extent within 15days. However, due to that one ailment which we were guided to believe minor she was admitted and ultimately we lost the battle. Those medicines terribly impacted all her organs.

A very nice human being with jolly nature. It is patient first for him. Listens intently to patients. Concerned about the patient and uses minimal invasive procedure within reasonable costs. A young Cardiologist with huge experience. Does not scare a patient into a procedure. He performed Angiography and a PTCA a fortnight ago. I am absolutely fine without any discomfort. I highly recommend him to anyone having heart related issue. I wish him all the sucess in life. God bless.
