It's a story of my son. He is already 5 years now. We met sir when my son was just 3 and half months. He had many birth defects and was very difficult to undergo heart surgery and plus my son was under ventilator which was very serious to go for surgery. We thought that the whole world fall apart with no hope since it was serious to decide. On the day before the surgery I met sir M Das and I still remember his words " Don't worry we will take care of him. We will do our best stay at the hotel sleep properly and come to the hospital again for the surgery on the next day " . His words made me believe that god has sent me someone who can take care of our child when we cannot do anything . After the surgery miracles happen to our family. He is our godfather. He is very smart and one of the finest surgeon in Kolkata . And the remaining defects had been cleared up by one of the surgeon again from RN Tagore ( Dr Anandhya Chattopadhyay). And now we are free from everything. My son is safe he went to school , he walk at the age of exact 1 year , he speaks at the age of 1year , he is very clever, smart and he is good in everything and his weight right now is 20kg. Whoever we met says that it's very difficult to believe that my son already had completed 5 surgeries at the age of 5years and still he is having good growth and there is no less in the milestone comparing to the other kids. Now miracles happen to our family because of 2 great surgeons. I will definitely recommend to everyone. He is a good doctor, but after the operation he is not guiding properly. My mom got the surgery in 2012 ,and because of the misguide she got 3times infection and still she is suffering. Even after the checkup if some issues are raising he is not clearing up .

He is one of the most unprofessional medical person I have ever meet in my life .because of him my niece has been suffering for many years after he did unsuccessful pda ligation .even after doing medical error and mistakes they didn't tell us anything after the procedure that they failed to close the pda .he didn't even come to meet us after the procedure.I would say for peadiatric surgery r n Tagore is very very unsafe and most horrible place to treat your child specially a doctor like him who is rude and there are lot of miscommunication with them.his managed who has medical degree that nonsense who called me and asking for third surgery seriously .I informed everything to dr devi shetty and finally last year they did coiling in banglore Narayana hospital under supervision of dr.devi shetty and I told him how they played with my niece life .r n Tagore is a hell for child I must say and please chose banglore or chennai if you have opportunity to go .

I have been a patient of Dr. M Das, since 2009. I have had bypass surgery and have been going to him for checkups yearly. He is a great doctor. He takes utmost care of his patients and has a highly amicable behavior!

No doubt you're 5 star rated but you fail to deliver post operative counseling which actually heals the patient by 50 percent. I'm one of your AVR patient and doing well for last four years but left with horrible experience from you and your team. While you earn please give a day to your patients who got another life and consider you as God. I think some ethics of your initial days at Edinburgh should have been brought to R N Tagore hospital as well.
