I admitted my father-in-law here to investigate blood pressure fluctuation problems. Admission is completed very easily under the supervision of Dr. Sunand Adhikari. The use of other doctors, nurses and assistants is very good. But it is better to improve two things a little more. Cannot talk to patients. A little thought about this communication is convenient. It is better if the discharge process is done a little faster. Patient admitted on 2/5 afternoon and discharged on 5/5 noon, for some tests and monitoring without any operation the hospital billed 62 k considering four days bed charge. I don't know how it is four days! And the bill, I think a little bit more. All other arrangements and cleanliness are very good.

Patient Reviews
I had been diagnosed with Gallbladder stone and pancreatitis last month. This hospital doctors saved my life because things could have become worse had I not gotten this operated. I must also appreciate the gentle behavior of the nurses, junior doctors,RMOs as well as the people at the reception desk who stood by me and my family during the entire period of time. I will highly recommend this hospital for people who want to avail wonderful service of the doctors at an affordable price. To mention, my entire duration of stay was of 7 days which included tests and operations. However, the cost of this was a total of 81K only.
Very very disappointed at the healthcare in this hospital. My daughter was brought in today at the emergency because she was having an episode of panic attack. She was mistreated by the emergency doctor and nurses. her hands were tightly held for giving injection without permission even after her denying the injection because she's doing a course of medicines and is not allowed to take external medication of any sort. The doctor was smirking/smilling throughout while my daughter cried in pain struggling to breathe. when her therapist was put on call as to explain the situation the doctor didn't take the phone and went away. Later he told one of her friends her problems will go away if she stopped seeing a therapist. I am genuinely astound looking at the condition of a well known hospital in a city, in the year 2025! Mental health is not taken seriously at all. They didn't know how to handle her situation, didn't even give her water until she asked like half hour later. They stared at her making her feel more uncomfortable. A mental health patient should be treated with care and patience. They were getting frustrated with her, telling her harshly that nothing is wrong with her. They charged us with 600 rs after for the medicine she didn't take. they decided for themselves that she needs to be given sedative medicine which she said no to. Whose fault is that a hospital emergency ward doesn't know how to do first aid for a panic attack patient. Sedation is not the answer to all mental disorders, understanding them and knowing how to handle them is as important as any other physical problems. deeply concerned about the condition of mental health facilities in hospitals. Is mental health not as serious as physical health? Will my daughter be looked after only if she has a physical health issue?
One of my family member was admitted for 7 days. She got the right care from the sisters and treatment from the doctors. While other hospitals may have charged a ransom, CHC charged reasonably. It is exactly what one needs from a hospital. I would definitely recommend others.
Highly recommended place, good atmosphere. Recently I came here with my mom, to hearing checkup. A doctor named Dr. Anupam Sir, who is just awesome, polite & very kind. He tested AUDIOMETRY, ENG & HEARING AIDS TRAIL to my mom, time taken- almost 3.30 hours. Huge respect for him, thank you Calcutta clinic, for this support.
Dr. Shuvendu Mallick is a very skilled and humane person. Dr. Shuvendu Mallick Sir has played a significant role in admitting many patients to this hospital and making them healthy. The behavior of several doctors in this hospital is highly commendable.
While the nurse and doctor services are really good, the hospital management, floor manager and internal communication is a trash. I am having chemotherapy of my mother in an interval of 3 weeks.. I had processed all the mediclaim related TPA work and it was written that the admission date is on 11th June. TPA called me 3 days earlier as well. On the day of chemotherapy, I was told that no bed is there, as I had to separately call floor manager for the bed booking even if it is well informed to TPA. This process was not told earlier. We come from a long distance. There is no internal communication at all. After that floor manager switched his phone off and didn't pick up the call. Please don't trust on this management and don't take risk to take critical patients inside the hospital.
While the Doctors and Nurses seem fine, the Reception and the Pharma are borderline useless with people doing next to nothing and wasting oxygen as well as our time. If you don't have time to waste then don't visit this clinic. Also note that there is a Pharma (Park Medical Stores) within GD Market which is close by and where you'll also get 20% discount so choose them instead of standing in queue at Heart Clinic's Pharma. I felt like breaking all their teeth honestly because they are unnecessarily slow & lazy. When I called the Floor Manager's number he/she wasn't even there and the lady who had received my call had an issue (obviously) with me trying to not waste my time. If these people are our future then our country will remain backwards no matter how hard the government tries to develop it. These people are smug, complacent and they think they are doing us a good service while honestly a kid from 4th Grade can replace them and do a job that's light years ahead of what they are capable of. Terrible, terrible management. Try to avoid this place as much as possible is what I recommend.
