My father 85 years old has been admitted in B M Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata for replacement of heart valve (LV) under the renowned TAVI/TAVR specialist Dr Joy Shaibal Shome on 20th April'25. First of all, we entire family wish to convey our deep regards and thanks to Dr Joy Shome and his team for successful valve replacement surgery and given our father a normal life. We were very fortunate to have Dr Shome for my father's treatment. He is wonderful and kind-hearted doctor, we ever met. My father was so happy and expressed his feelings that he has never seen such a doctor in his entire life of 85 years. Dr Shome is not only an expert doctor in TAVI/TAVR but a wonderful human being. He was easily accessible to each and every family member through calls and messages 24x7 basis except the OT hours. Before and after the surgery, he explained everything to us and help us to motivate and plan accordingly. After the TAVI surgery, father was needed Pacemaker to implant and that too executed successfully on the very next day after TAVI. Our experience in B M Birla Hospital is excellent for their services and proper treatment protocol. All the staff, sisters, medical attendants were excellent in their respective area. We are especially thankful to Amrita Madam (TAVI Co-ordinator), Sreenjaya Madam (Admin) for full cooperation during our hospital tenure. Our overall experience in B M Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata was excellent. Suggestions: 1. In private room, Hospital Management should provide full size bed for the 24 hours attendant for the patient. 2. Hospital Management should also look into economic price packages compared to Mumbai/ Delhi Region.

I just discharged from B.M Birla Heart Research Centre after undergoing Coronary Angiography. Everything, right from Admission to discharge, is more than perfect. Cleanliness, hygeine, warm welcoming attitude of the nurses, attendants, administrative staffs deserve special mention. Dr. Shuvo Dutta and his team did a wonderful job, living upto their high reputation. The Cathlab is state-of-the-art with modern esuipments. God bless the people working with the great organization.

My father was treated by Dr. Ratan Kumar Das (CTVS).I m always greatful to him He was very knowledgeable and had a lot of experience. I am a CRPF Soldier and My father's treatment was done through Ayushman CAPF card and the corporate staff also did all the work so quickly. I will also be grateful to Saurav bhai (Dr. R.K Das Cordinator) for this. Saurav Bhai gave me the right guidelines and helped me a lot due to which my father's heart surgery was done successfully. I got a lot of support from the sisters and brothers of the hospital. Overall my experience at this hospital has been excellent.

As I feel here at Hospital The Administration and security staffs behaviour nd Hospitality is not good.. Some security staff have been caught eating Gutka on duty time..

I got my father in law and also my brother in law operated by dr Manoj kr Daga.one was old enough and another one is too young.They went through bypass surgery and valve replacement surgery respectively.My father in law was operated 8 years ago and he is fit nd fine mashallah,and my brother in law Asif Iqbal was operated just 14 days ago.I must say Dr Daga is a very good person by profession and also as a human being.He made my patient so cool and calm and also recovered a lot.His assistant Mr Rajdeep is also very supportive and helpful guy.He helped me a lot.Also one person I would name Mr shaad,he is also a kind and very helpful person.May Allah bless you all.Nursing staff were also superb.Thank you so much.
