Dr. Bishnupur District Hospital

Earlier the hospital was unhealthy and dirty, but now a days it is clean. Good facility available now. It is now a Distinct Hospital. But some of the nurses and doctors are not well behaved as usual. A few distance from Bus stand, and about 1.5km from Railway Station.

One of the largest and busiest District hospital in our nearby area with skilled professionals helping a lot of people saving their life..

The subdivisional hospital and the comparatively New Super Speciality Hospital are situated 5mins away from the main Bus Stand of bishnupur. The super speciality hospital is constructed nicely but is in dire need of maintenance. The facilities available here are good as well, with free scans, blood tests and free medicines available on prescription from the hospital itself.

The hospital retains some good as well as bad things....Described below, Goodness- Fast treatment on emergency 24 hrs. Free Xray and other diagnosis. Free medicine facility. Free breakfast (milk, egg, banana, bread), Lunch (Rice, Dal, Sabji, egg), Dinner(Rice/Roti, sabji) service. Nurses are friendly. The bad things that really hearts me- The untidy and foul smelling Toilets especially the Female wards. The security prevent you from entering from 8.30 am to 1 pm. without visiting card. But u can enter rather than anytime. You can see some helping hands which demands money from you. Currently Doctors are not available 24 hrs, specially at dawn.

It's not worthy to be called a "District Hospital". There are facilities theoretically, but it's just for show! Patients are often redirected to Bankura even in case of not-so-serious injuries. First-aid facilities are also not good enough.

1.5 km distance from bishnupur railway station. beside bus stand. very clean and clear, doctors are available all the time.

24 hours nursing and treatment available. Critical patients are generally referred to Bankura hospital.
