Dr. Dr Preeti Sharma

We initially consulted Dr. Preeti Sharma when my father experienced pain in his left hand while walking, which radiated to the front of his chest. She performed an ECG and an echocardiogram, both of which came back normal. However, his Troponin I level was 0.17. Despite this concerning result, she recommended a TMT (Treadmill Test), which didn't make sense since my father was already experiencing pain while walking. When we went for the TMT, my father was unable to complete it due to severe pain. We returned to Dr. Sharma with the reports, but this time, she completely disregarded the TMT results. She barely glanced at the reports and immediately advised a CT angiography. Shockingly, she did not check his blood pressure or conduct a proper physical examination. She simply asked if there was swelling in his legs but didn't even bother to look. Her approach felt robotic, as if she relied solely on reports without applying any clinical judgment. To make matters worse, after taking her consultation fees, she did not provide proper attention to our concerns. When we visited her the second time with the reports, she hardly focused on them and seemed uninterested in discussing the situation thoroughly. Her dismissive attitude made us feel disrespected and unheard. Concerned by her negligence, we decided to consult another cardiologist instead. The CT angiography revealed a critical emergency--a completely occluded right coronary artery. This was a life-threatening condition requiring urgent intervention. Thankfully, we sought a second opinion from another cardiologist instead of relying on Dr. Sharma. Dr. Preeti Sharma's careless and over-reliant approach could have had severe consequences. Recommending a TMT for someone already experiencing exertional chest pain was reckless, as my father could have collapsed during the test. Her lack of thorough clinical assessment, failure to diagnose a critical condition, and dismissive attitude toward patients are deeply concerning. I strongly advise caution when consulting her. In a field as crucial as cardiology, a doctor's inability to assess a patient properly can have fatal consequences.
