Dr. S.L. Verma may be a good doctor, but as a human being and professional, the experience was very disappointing. The system at the clinic is poorly managed. I went to register a patient's name and the staff told me to bring the patient first -- only then would a token number be assigned, which would be after 3-4 hours. That too, in unbearable conditions. There wasn't enough seating space, only one fan, which wasn't working -- maybe due to power issues, but at least an inverter could have been used. People were sitting outside on the road waiting for hours. Also, if the doctor is giving time, they should be punctual themselves. Making sick patients sit for 3-4 hours in such a setup is inhumane. A simple solution could be: take the fees in advance and give a proper appointment time. This way, patients don't have to suffer more just waiting. Such mismanaged clinics should be monitored strictly, and authorities must ensure that patients' dignity and health are respected -- not just profits.
