Dr. Medicover Hospitals - Best Hospital in Chandanagar

This has been one of the worst hospitals I've ever visited. I chose it only because it's close to my home and wanted to show my brother-in-law's blood report (Genecis check) while I was accompanied by my wife, 1-year-old child, and brother-in-law. There was no car parking, and the security guard asked me to park around 300 meters away, at the backside. While I was waiting in the car, I got a call from my wife saying that children are not allowed in the consultation chamber, as per hospital administration, since they might "disturb the doctor." I approached the nurse and guard to ask a very reasonable question: What should a couple do if they come together with a child? Shockingly, I was told that "this is the rule" -- with no alternative or assistance offered. (I even clicked a photo of the doctor involved.) Another odd thing -- there were barely any patients in the hospital, just a line-up of medical representatives. And here's the most bizarre part: You don't get the prescription from the doctor directly -- instead, it comes from the medical store outside the hospital. (Although I've purchased medicines from this branch before, this was unexpected.) Overall, I would strongly suggest thinking twice before visiting this branch -- unless it's an absolute emergency. I'm not asking everyone to blindly believe my experience--just visit and see for yourself. If things have improved, that's great for the society. If not, we thankfully have other hospital options available..
