In 2016, at the age of 19, I faced severe heart problems. My heart was only pumping at 30% efficiency, and I had two valve leakages. I consulted Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Garu during that time. He suggested surgery but advised against immediate operation due to my heart's low pumping capability. He prescribed medication to improve my heart's pumping efficiency. I diligently took the prescribed medication and regularly visited Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Garu for monitoring. Every two months, he assessed my heart condition. After eight months, my heart's pumping efficiency improved. Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Garu then referred me to Dr. Mannam Gopichand for surgery. The surgery was critical, as I had already undergone open heart surgery in 2008 at Apollo Hospital. This time, it was my second DVR surgery. Seeking a second opinion, I visited one of the top doctors in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at Apollo Hospital. He had performed many heart transplantations but informed my father that he could not perform the surgery, stating that there was no guarantee I would survive the operation. This news was very emotional for my father. We then consulted Dr. Mannam Gopichand again. He assured us that he would perform the surgery but emphasized that I would need to continue taking medication for the rest of my life. Dr. Mannam Gopichand successfully performed the surgery. Now, at the age of 28, I am happy and living a normal life. I am immensely grateful to Dr. Jagadeesh Babu Garu for his guidance.
