Dr. Preethi Multispeciality & Orthopedics Hospital, Madurai

I recently visited Preethi Multi-Speciality Hospital and had a mixed experience. The doctors here are truly excellent -- professional, attentive, and highly skilled in their respective fields. Their diagnosis and treatment were top-notch, and I genuinely appreciate their dedication to patient care. However, the same cannot be said for the administrative staff. The managing staff was disorganized and unhelpful, making the overall experience stressful and frustrating. What's more concerning is the hospital's lack of adherence to standard safety protocols -- including poor hygiene in some common areas and a general disregard for patient safety norms. For a multi-speciality hospital, this is highly disappointing. While the doctors raise the standard, the rest of the staff and the hospital's management need serious improvement to provide truly holistic and safe patient care.Another concern is that of lift mobility,in order to save electricity and cost they switch off the elevators while we pay for the VIP standard and management staff ( Mr.Arun) came to me without proper knowledge about patient history or medical summary to ask for more money , when I confronted him he realised his mistake and went back. They ask us to pay some amount before the surgery and we paid but the total bill was below the amount we paid when the time of discharge they made us wait the whole day for the refund amount so pay only quarter amount of what they ask., "I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO CHANGE IN SUCH CONCERNED AREAS I MENTIONED ABOVE AND I DONT THINK SO I WILL BE ABLE TO RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL " The cost of the hospital is high ,very high I feel!! Before admitting check whether they have room available or not even if they standard rooms they will push to take elite rooms beware of this!! Last but not the least the doctors were wonderful and very very talented,they way they treat ,converse ,care I would give a 10/10 to them.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Preethi hospital during the birth of my baby, and I would like to sincerely thank the amazing team of doctors and nurses who supported me throughout this beautiful journey. A special thanks to Dr. Vijayalakshmi, my gynecologist, for her expert guidance and constant encouragement. Her calm and confident approach made me feel safe and cared for at every stage. She answered all my questions patiently. I'm also extremely grateful to the pediatricians, Dr. Nivetha and Dr. Mohan, for their excellent care and attention towards my newborn. They were gentle, thorough, and explained everything about my baby's health in a clear and comforting way. The nursing staff made a big difference in my experience. Nurse Kaviya, Nurse Abarna, and Nurse Chitra were incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive. They were always available when needed, helped me with recovery, and made sure both my baby and I were comfortable throughout our stay. The hospital was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. I am deeply thankful to the entire team for making this such a positive and memorable experience. I would definitely recommend preethi hospital to any expecting mother looking for professional and compassionate care.

I came here for my father's hernia surgery I've consulted with three surgeons dr.abu ( general surgeon ) dr.kathick ( general surgeon ) and dr.karthikeyan ( gastroenterologist ) and also consulted about my father's insurance in L floor they told me for the laparoscopic tapp surgery ,it will cost around 1.5 lakh and insurance will cover one third this is what they told me but after we finished everything they told as we have 15 k refund from the advance we pay 80k advance and 20k for medicines and it covers around 1 lakh on the next review they told me that sorry sir we can't provide your refund and we forget to add the instrument fee it was 38k please pay it ...we didn't expect this from them such careless behaviour...how can they forget this ...it's a blunder and we have to pay from our pocket now these bill cannot be entered in insurance now I cannot get insurance covered ...this was their fault and they are accepting it but i have to pay for their mistakes now ..this was not correct ...Preethi administration too worst ...however my father made a payment ...because he don't want any troubles for the further followup and please be careful and aware for such mistakes happened for you ...or I don't know it's thier new tactics for getting money .....please be aware guys ....next time people visiting here for hernia surgery make sure these things .....for me it's a worst experience ...

Respected Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention the extremely unhygienic conditions prevailing in the hospital canteen, which are not only disappointing but also pose a serious risk to the health of patients, attendants, and hospital staff. During my recent visit to the canteen, I observed several concerning issues: * The floors were dirty and appeared uncleaned for long periods. * The food preparation area was unhygienic, with uncovered food items and visible flies around. * The utensils and serving dishes were not properly washed. * Staff handling food were not wearing gloves or hairnets, raising serious concerns about food safety. Given that this is a hospital environment where hygiene is of utmost importance, it is alarming to witness such negligence. Patients and their caregivers often rely on the canteen for meals, and serving food in such unsanitary conditions could lead to infections and further health complications. I urge you to take immediate and strict action to address these issues. Regular cleanliness checks, food safety audits, and staff hygiene training should be enforced to ensure that the canteen operates in compliance with health and safety standards. I hope this matter will be resolved urgently in the best interest of all hospital stakeholders. Thank you for your attention.

I was admitted here after a serious accident, and from the beginning till discharge, I received excellent care and support. The staff were extremely friendly, and the environment was clean and well-maintained. The doctors were very supportive, visiting my ward every day and checking in regularly. One small suggestion would be to minimize the need for family members to move between floors frequently to purchase medicines or other items. Overall, a great experience and truly thankful for the care provided.

Two years ago, my father met with an accident and was admitted here. Since then, the treatment provided has been consistently satisfactory. In particular, Dr. Azeem (Neurosurgeon) has given extraordinary care and shown exceptional cooperation throughout. We are truly grateful for his dedication and support.

I took my father to get a MRI at Preethi Hospitals Radiology department and had a great experience throughout the process. Radiology techs are very friendly and provided clear instructions. Overall process is very smooth and hassle free and able to get imaging and reports on time .
