Positive: -------------- Doctors gave clear, detailed explanations and focused only on what was necessary. Received good treatment overall. Clean and well-maintained hospital. Blocks are clearly marked and easy to find. Located right opposite the new bus station -- very accessible. Laboratory staff were highly professional -- their responses were prompt, precise, and delivered with commendable efficiency. Needs Improvement: ---------------------------------- Some general ward nurses -- especially those attending to patients immediately after shifting from the recovery room -- and the physician assistant were uncooperative, avoided questions, and often delegated tasks to others or attendees. The PRO, Mr. Siva, seemed more focused on supporting the staff rather than addressing the concerns of patients and their families. Treatment is expensive. Noisy environment due to constantly running equipment, even outside patient areas. No proper canteen -- only tea available for 10. Staff were not welcoming or approachable. No clear hierarchy among staff -- must rely on unresponsive nurses. Discharge summary was delayed by 3 days despite prior notice. No stairs available -- only a slow lift, often delayed due to patient movement.

I had a really good experience at Porunai Hospital. The hospitality was excellent. 5th floor nurses and other staff were very friendly and helpful -- no matter how many times we asked for help, they always came and did whatever was needed.Cleaners came regularly and kept everything neat and hygienic. Doctors were also very good -- professional and kind. One big advantage is that all the facilities like scans and tests are available inside the hospital itself, so we didn't have to go out for anything. They also provided food for the patient, which was really helpful.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service and care we received.

I am admitted my mom, for surgery and treatment, all the 10 days admitted, the doctors and nurses were so professional at the same time, gave my mom the best care and medicine. She recovered gave soon with proper treatment. And maintained the hygiene by frequent cleaning. Thanks to all the good heart, who lend their time to protect us. We took a semi private ward in teh 5th Floor, and the nurses were on time, who understood the pain of every patients and provide comfort and they knew what treatment every patient undergone with. I hope we took a good decision to save my mom by admitting her.

Recently My father aged 72 yrs underwent Radiation therapy at Porunai Hospital. With lots of confusion we approached the hospital but the staff and the other members provided a very clear picture and makes us feel comfort and started the 30 days session of treatment. Really we was impressed by the exceptional care and support provided by the staff.
