Dr. Galaxy Hospitals

Doctors are experts and academically seniors in their specialities. The management of the hospital is very poor. Nurses treat patients like school kids. Clinical hygiene here makes you feel like you're in a public toilet. Poor Illumination. Consultation fee is regionally higher than other institutes. No proper seating arrangements, token systems, pharma facilities. Some of the prescribed drugs are not even available at their own pharmacy. Briefly, The management and administration run a fish-market in the name of hospital with some senior consultant doctors. Wonder how the eminent doctors visit their patients in this hospital?!

Hospital = Service = God. This Hospital Money Motto Hospital. Service is Very poor.Once upon a time Best Hospital in Tirunelveli.

Worst cleanliness and too costly for the service they provide. Badly maintained reception service and waiting area. Room rates are too much higher for the cleanliness and service they provide. All the disposable items are kept open and there is too much dust everywhere. Broken rusty windows and unclean bedsheets and blood stains on the bed. Never go to this hospital.

Worst behaviour by the Doctor Pon Avudaiappan (Urologist). He is not at all having patience to listen what the patient or his/her relative is saying or asking. He just want others to be quiet and to listen what he is saying and that too he won't speak loudly, he will speak slowly which will not be audible for others. Doctors like him are having so much attitude by thinking like they are the Gods and I wonder how people are going to such doctors. He will ask the patients about something about their health condition and if patients are elaborating then he will try to stop them immediately by saying that he don't want such stories. Then I don't know why he asked them their previous medical history? Disgusting. He don't even explain the things to the patients by seeing them or by seeing their eyes. Also if any other specialized doctor asked patients to visit him means, he is also asking the patients to visit that specialized doctors again. Patients must have patience to wait for a long time and then the doctor will behave like the patients are his servants. I will advise people to visit him only if they have any major problem orelse better avoid him. Also visitors should be silent enough and to tolerate him by adjusting his behaviour. Better don't visit him and consult any other good Urologist nearby.

Worst hospital.. nobody knows when doctor will come. There is no duty doctor..only Nurses taking care of patients. A doctor Mr.bhakthavatchalam supposed to come around 8.30-9.00am but he came after 12.30. until he comes patient is not allowed to drink/eat anything. Very irresponsible behaviour by Doctor..shame on you man. This is one the biggest and reputed hospital in Tirunelveli..but the re is no AC room available.thry allotted a Non AC room which was worst...no cleaning..filthy floors .bed.. can't believe this kind of bad service. Irresponsible doctor.... irresponsible hospital

The reason for my review is - Service is really worst, waiting time is too long, no friendly, behaviour is not good, if we step in to hospital at 8am, the will make op at 10.30. after that we need to wait till 11.30. what does it mean? Don't we have any other work? Service should be quick and fast. While compare to Aravind eye hospital, this is really worst service in moving the process. Aravind eye hospital 9/10.. galaxy 1/10.. please management, make the patient move fast for check up and surgery.. don't make them wait for long time.....

Very unhygienic hospital. I think they grow pests as pets. There were houseflies everywhere. There is also rat feces inside the hopital near dialysis room area. I took my mom to the hospital for a check-up. Disgusting behavior by Dr. Balasubramanian (Nephrology). He was on his phone not paying attention to what a patient has to say. Very unethical. I felt he has god syndrome. Never visit the hospital if you want to be treated well. I have also posted a couple of pictures of the unhygienic hospital areas. The nurse's and staff's service in the hospital was very bad as well. We were given a stinky room. The room windows and doors have to be kept closed at all times if you have to avoid insects from entering the room.

Absolutely poor service!!! If you are ill and need CARE and need to see people who value your concerns and TIME, please DO NOT go here. Doctors/clinics are supposed to care and value patients' time. My parents (60-65 yr olds) went here this morning at 8am, they got their tokens, yet had to wait the entire day only to be seen by the doctor for a few minutes and recommend taking tests. The doctor was supposed to be there at 9am but did not show up until 12pm (WHY?). The token system was completely haphazard and the guy at the front desk randomly let people who he knew to be seen by the doctor first. This is completely immoral and unethical and I would not have anyone (especially old people) go here and wait to be seen by the doctor after 5 hours and having to spend 12 hours in the hospital to get blood tests.
