Dr. Velan Speciality Hospitals

One of the worst experience I faced in this hospital. What to do admitted for an emergency due to which need to tolerate all this. Huge expensive hospital bills, also found one patient is shouting for the high expense and went out. Settled the entire bill at around 10am and waited nearly 3 hours to get reports and other things, but where as when it comes to payment they are calling every one hour and conducting meetings daily 10 minutes to pay in advance. Hospitals are now a days run for money and not for service. Anyhow again I need to come here as it's near my to house and the other options are less. Suggestion: Come here only if you have a Medical insurance. Negative point : even if you are friend or known person of the owner you will charged 300 % extra. Cost wise : I will give you a 90% accurate split up of my bill and you will be surprised by it Bed room, nurse, housekeeping alone my bill was 33K Lab charges 16k Doctor consultation 5K Test charges 16k Medicines 15K

Good ambience. Neat and clean. Dr.Chinna Mariyappan sir approach the patient very patiently. And diagnosing very well. Dr. Vignesh(Neuro) sir very well treatment. The reception persons are always busy don't know what they are doing. Every process they are doing is slow. We have to wait for a long time even for the general checkup after consulting the doctor. They make us to wait to pay the bill. It's getting afraid to come to velan for the general checkup also.

Be-aware before get admitting in hospital. Management force doctor to visit the admitted patient daily they charge 550/300 for each visit, minor surgery they cost too much procedure and Pharmacy and test cases, fully money minded.

I have recently admitted my parent for gynaecological diagnosis. Overall experience is pretty much good. Service quality, Well equipped infrastructure with experienced staffs from bottom level to senior. Thanks to friendly staffs. One suggestion is Parking space would have been better. Right now there's no dedicative parking as such. Apart from that, Billing and insurance-staffs are helpful whenever in need.

Hospital with lots of Care for the Patients and with Across Multi Speciality , all drs given excellent treatment. I taken treatement for my uncle, He is fine now at the age of 69. Thanks to Dr.Rajavel.

Horrible hospital and night duty Dr doesn't know anything. They took EGC wrongly and suggested not to go for anything urgency. I already complained to your Manager and no use. Also, the BP monitor reads wrongly and it's showing +40 than actually. I believe this way hospital give threat to the patient which is very bad. All monitor needs to be calibrated or to be replaced.
