Dr. Government Hospital

Better than private hospital, doctors were so kind . The person in pharma named vimal clearly explaining the medicines dosage with a humble tone .

Positives.. Clean and well equipped to beat private hospital in maintenance & Infrastructure perspective.... 1. Can see detailed instructions everywhere like which is where, Directions 2. Less crowed and got sufficient space for waiting. 3. On the floor walk i doesn't got anything negative from people's voice but actually heared good stuffs. Negatives.. 1. Dedicated waiting area(separate room) is there actually everywhere but seeing the room are locked due to this people are waiting outside in cold . 2. Blood bank is there but hidden on the back side and its not advertised anywhere in the hospital fot blood donation. 3. Siddha unit is there, but again thats the same case here, Its hidden, not advertised or not even directions, So literally no patents entered this space for 3 hours. 4. The infrastructure is good but its not equipped to handle critical cases so they are sending it palani. Which is dangerous because this is an hill station so going to palani will take 2 to 3 hours. Which decreased positive probability by more than 70 percent. 5. In some areas i can see clear shortage of staffs.

A great experience here. I came in with a skin problem, it was difficult to find the building for skin problems but I eventually did. From my understanding you have to find the OP desk and get yourself a ticket (see below) once you have a ticket you line up, my experience was a 2 minute wait. Within seconds he had diagnosed me with scabies, which is what I suspected it was. The medicine provided was free. Which also took no longer then 2 minutes to receive. The experience was quick and painless which is usually never the case with hospitals, congratulations guys you nailed it here.

Extremely unprofessional and pathetic behaviour by the nurses in the emergency section. Mocked us tourists for shivering due to cold, which was quite rude. They demanded us to wait for 40 mins so that they can get us the medicines from their pharmacy instead of us going out and purchasing them.

Not like other GH. Clean and well maintained hospital. Doctors & nurses listen to us patiently and cares about us. Limited facilities are there. Don't this CT/MRI works here.

5 not enough, Google please make more on demand. Awesome experience, felt very happy after I got treated my 2 yrs son on a wound stitch at emergency care ward, that too on a Sunday night. Blindly go for it, feel the care, Kodai'ans are blessed with this hospitality. Is it a 24/7 Government Hospital? I wonder. Usually government hospitals are mostly portrayed bad in Movies, but nowadays their efforts and services proved it's a false portray. Thank you team Kodaikanal Government Hospital.

Clean and Well maintained . Nurses are knowledgeable and take good care of patients. Doctors listen to us very patiently and treats the symptoms with care .
