Dr. VS Hospitals

We are here in the VS hospital, admitted for the ortho surgery for my husband's grandmother. The staff, nurses and doctors are approachable and care well for the patient. The room is well maintained and food provided for the patient was excellent. The hospital staff is on rounds checking if we are comfortable and if any concern is mentioned, they address it promptly. Overall happy with the experience so far. We opted for single room. We had to give blood to replace the blood we needed for the surgery. The reception staff during our admission was polite and courteous. Parking facility is not available in the premises even for 2 wheelers. It has to be parked outside, on the main road or on the opposite side of the road. For cars, valet facility is available.

Recently, my mother was admitted to this hospital for surgery. Initially, everything seemed fine. However, our experience quickly turned unpleasant, starting with the reception staff, who were extremely rude. We were first given a single room that was too small for even the patient to move around comfortably. Despite agreeing to change our room, the staff delayed the process,after repeated requests throughout the day, they eventually shifted us to a double occupancy room, making it a single occupancy. However, this room was in an even worse condition--stained walls, broken bathroom doors, and an overall unhygienic environment. It was one of the dirtiest hospitals I have come across in Chennai. Please don't trust the images posted on Google--they are completely misleading. The pictures were taken during the hospital's initial days, but the current state is nothing like that. Now, it's a complete disaster. Adding to our frustration, the doctor had approved our discharge in the morning, but we were only able to leave the hospital by 8 PM. We were traveling from a long distance, yet there was absolutely no patient care or consideration for our time. We had to keep following up in the billing section as well, where the staff was extremely rude. To make matters worse, the hospital seemed more focused on overcharging than providing quality care. Despite opting for a package that supposedly covered all charges with GST, they still added extra GST for every service. The nursing staff was also poorly trained. One particular nurse, Chandra (if I recall correctly), struggled with even basic procedures like checking CBG. Instead of handling patients with care, they repeatedly pricked my mother's vein, causing her unnecessary pain. The only positive aspect of our experience was the doctor, who was excellent. Otherwise, we wouldn't have chosen this hospital at all. Given the poor facilities, unprofessional behavior, and excessive charges, I strongly advise against choosing this hospital. I hope the management takes serious action to improve their services.

Best hospital for cancer care in chennai with experienced oncologist.The doctor and staff were caring and supportive throughtout the treatment.Though the cost of treatment is a bit on higher but the quailty of care and treatment was good.The hospital maintain good hygine and environment is clean. To be honest, I've already undergone two chemo sessions, and today is my third. But no one explained things as clearly as the nurses on the 3rd floor, especially Nurse LATHA ma'am. She took the time to explain everything in detail and showed so much care and concern. Their kindness, patience, and professional approach really made a difference. I truly appreciate their dedication and support during this time. Very thankful for the excellent care provided.

We had been trusting this hospital for nearly two years for my aunt's treatment, based on a close friend's referral. Unfortunately, our faith was misplaced. Recently, we noticed that 750 was billed twice on a single invoice. The billing section gave us repeated assurances that the extra amount would be refunded digitally within three days, but after multiple follow-up calls and sharing all supporting documents, we still have not received the money. The staff now ignores our requests altogether. The amount might seem small, but it raises serious concerns about the hospital's honesty. How many others have unknowingly paid extra during stressful times? I regret recommending this hospital to friends and relatives. Please check your bills carefully before making any payments.

I trusted the hospital completely and never doubted their billing practices -- until recently. For the first time, after paying a bill, I checked the details and found that an additional 750 had been billed twice. When I immediately brought this to the attention of the billing section, they assured me that the extra payment would be refunded within 3 days via bank transfer, as the transaction was digital. Trusting them, I returned home. However, despite multiple follow-ups -- through calls, and sharing all supporting documents -- the hospital has neither refunded the 750 nor provided any genuine explanation. Now, they are ignoring my requests entirely. While 750 may seem like a small amount, I cannot help but wonder how many other patients might have been overcharged in a similar manner. During times of medical crisis, families often pay bills without closely checking, and it is deeply unethical if a hospital exploits this trust. I regret having referred this hospital to my friends, family, and acquaintances, as my trust has been deeply misplaced. This incident has shown me that wrong billing here is not just a mistake -- it feels like a deliberate practice. I demand: 1. Immediate refund of the excess 750. 2. An explanation for the double billing. 3. Assurance that such practices will not be repeated, along with a transparent billing audit process.

Doctors are Exceptional and amazing, they live true to their motto, providing affordable cancer care to all without compromising on the quality of treatment. Hospital Staff are very polite and courteous. Nurses are very patient, gentle and diligent. Pharmacy is always stocked up with rare medicines. Chief doctor and founder is a true visionary and considers service to humanity above all. Hospital is well maintained. Highly recommend for quality care.
