My uncle was under Dr. Babu Ezhumalai's care for a stent procedure. Initially, he requested the procedure be done without general anesthesia, and we were told this would be respected. However, just before surgery, a consent form was presented stating that general anesthesia would be used -- causing confusion and distress. After a very long operation, his condition became critical.
