Dr. Dr. Sakthivel Cardiac Electrophysiologist

We recently had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Sakthivel, a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospital, Pallikaranai. On 25th March 2025, my 80-year-old father developed acute pulmonary edema and was rushed to the hospital, where he was promptly stabilized. Following thorough evaluation, he was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis, and the recommended course of treatment was aortic valve replacement. Dr. Sakthivel took the time to clearly explain my father's condition and the available treatment options. Considering my father's age and overall health, he recommended the TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) procedure. Dr. Sakthivel ensured all necessary tests were conducted to determine my father's suitability for the procedure, demonstrating thoroughness and attention to detail. Once we were confident in the safety and benefits of the procedure, we scheduled it under Dr. Sakthivel's care. My father was admitted on 2nd April 2025, and the TAVI procedure was successfully performed on 3rd April 2025. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Sakthivel guided us with clarity and patience, strictly adhering to medical protocols. He assembled an excellent multidisciplinary team of doctors, technicians, and nursing staff, and his calm, composed demeanor provided great reassurance to our entire family. True to his words, my father made a swift recovery and was discharged on 5th April 2025. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Sakthivel for his exceptional care, guidance, and compassionate approach. His ability to inspire confidence and his professionalism were truly commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sakthivel for anyone seeking expert and empathetic cardiac consultation or treatment.

Dr.Sakthivel is a great doctor and precisely knows what needs to be done for the patient with regards to the medical condition. He successfully completed leadless pacemaker insertion for my mother at Dr.Kamakshi Memorial hospital. He is very approachable and patiently listens and responds to the queries raised. Overall a fantastic experience for us.

Great doctor and we are very happy to seek his services. My dad was admitted to emergency theatre (late 2023 ) with a massive chest pain (Kamatchi Hospital - Pallikaranai ) & multiple artery blocks. We recently visited Doctor Sakthivel for my mother in Kamakshi hospital Pallikaranai. My mother had a higher heartbeat rate for more than 3 hours (200 to 250). Doctor checked all the diagnostic reports and gave recommendation to do EPS and RFA procedure. Doctor was very nice on giving detailed explanation on why this procedure is needed. The next day Doctor did this procedure successfully. Doctor and his team took a great care of my mother during the procedure , due to body structure and fat layers , identifying veins were getting very difficult for the doctor and his team. But Doctor was very patient enough and completed the procedure successfully. We are very much satisfied with the Dr.Sakthivel's approach on this treatment. Would highly recommend this doctor for any patients with heart ailments .. We need Doctors whom understand our concern and address it in a way that we can understand and be approachable and Doctor Sakthivel is so . His team of Assistant doctors and nurses were very helpful and took good care of my mother.
