Dr. Dr. Mehta's Hospitals

I had a disappointing experience at Dr. Mehta's Hospital in Chetpet, Chennai. The hospital lacks proper staff to attend to patients, and the staff seem untrained even in basic tasks. Despite repeated nurse calls and direct requests, issues were not addressed for over an hour, which is unacceptable. The room conditions are worse than government hospitals. The deluxe private room was poorly maintained, with a third-grade cot, no sanitization supplies like wipes or sterilium, and a phone that was non-functional due to damaged wiring. Housekeeping services were unreliable and required constant reminders for basic cleaning. Additionally, the lift was often non-operational, adding to the inconvenience. Equipments used for patients - The equipments and other items like syrengy, scissors etc... used for patients are left unattended and left unhygienic on the pathways and near lifts completely non sterilised. Parking was another major issue--there is no proper parking facility for visitors, and the staff in charge of parking were extremely rude. Overall, my experience at Dr. Mehta's Hospital was far below expectations, and I would not recommend it to others. But not to mention on the neuro surgeon and their expertise on handling the patient but reporting or intimating the attender on the current condition of the patient by the duty anesthesian been missed not once or twice but every single instance. I was not at all satisfied on the behaviour of the staff including doctors and the other parameters mentioned above really pissed me off. Recommend patients not to go here if you want a better cost effective treatment, hospitality and services

I recently visited Dr.Metha's Hospital and had a very positive experience. The staff Name is Hemchand Krishna was very professional, kind, and attentive throughout my stay. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly, and the nurses were compassionate and responsive to all my needs. The hospital was clean, well-organized, and followed proper hygiene protocols. I felt safe and well cared for at all times. I highly recommend Dr.Metha's Hospital to anyone in need of medical attention.

I recently visited Dr.Metha's Hospital chetapet.my son was admitted during loose motion, cold and vomiting. Dr. Gnanabalan took the time to explain everything clearly about my baby health condition and after that I have admitted my son 4 Days in hospital according to the doctor advised in that time all the staffs are responsive to all my needs. The hospital was clean, well-organized, and followed proper hygiene protocols. I felt safe and well cared for at all times. I recently admitted my 1-year-old son to Mehta's Hospital and I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The services provided by the doctors and nurses were excellent. They treated both the patient and the attenders with great care, empathy, and professionalism. One of the things I truly appreciate is that the hospital only admits patients in genuine emergency situations -- unnecessary admissions are strictly avoided. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the room service was also commendable. The food provided was prepared thoughtfully, keeping in mind the patient's health needs. Doctors and nurses explained my child's health condition very clearly, addressing even the smallest doubts with patience. They also guided us on how to take care of our baby in the future, providing detailed follow-up instructions. Nurses were available round the clock to attend to any concerns, which gave us great peace of mind. The fact that the hospital operates 24/7 is a major advantage, ensuring timely medical attention at any hour. I would definitely recommend Mehta's Hospital to my friends and relatives. We have been consulting Dr. Lakshmi Ma'am (Pediatrician) since my son's birth, and we are very happy with her treatment and care. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the hospital services, doctors, and nursing staff.

My 2 daughters were admitted for dengue treatment. All Doctors and PICU staffs are excellent patient care, including attending and knowledgeable, provided an effective treatment. This hospital is a clean comfortable environment. They kept my daughters very safe and comfortable during throughout the treatment. Thank u all.

I admitted my wife to Dr.Mehtas hospital for the delivery of our second child. Since our first baby was delivered via C-section, we consulted many doctors and hospitals -- all of whom insisted that a second C-section was mandatory, without even considering the possibility of a normal delivery. However, at this hospital, Gynecologist Dr. Geethanjali thoroughly examined my wife and gave us genuine hope for a normal delivery. We came for a check-up last Saturday, and based on her assessment, my wife was admitted. Late Sunday night, Dr. Geethanjali personally came and successfully carried out a normal delivery. We are extremely grateful -- both mother and baby are doing well. The way she handled was extremely Good. During the Time of delivery the Doctor along with all the Nurse mentally supported by encouraging my wife. They taught how to take care of our new born kid too The Hospital fee is way too high(1.65lakhs) for normal delivery, Not even 50% got covered in my corporate insurance Here's our overall rating: Doctor: 5/5 Polite & calmly explaining all sort of Queries well Hospital: 5/5 Maintained well & good Nursing care: 5/5 Reading available on a call bell Customer relationship Manager: daily asking for feedback & revert back on time Room service: 5/5 Twice a day, sweeping & moping & changing the bed covers every 24 hours Patient food (diet & choice): 5/5 Attender food: Needs improvement (this was the only downside) Except for the attender's food, everything else was excellent. I highly recommend this hospital to others looking for supportive care and a professional, compassionate medical team.
