Dr. Mahatma Gandhi Hospital

Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur is one of the top three government hospitals in the city. While the cleanliness may not be up to par, the doctors at this hospital are highly knowledgeable and helpful. The working staff, however, could be more accommodating and supportive. One positive aspect of the hospital is the availability of parking, which is convenient for visitors. Overall, Mahatma Gandhi Hospital provides quality medical care, but improvements in cleanliness and staff attitude would enhance the patient experience.

We took my brother to the hospital for treatment for the first time. Because we knew someone there, they treated him well that day. However, after three days, he fell sick again. We took him back to the same hospital MGH emergency room 2 at night. The nurse took his blood without even reading the diagnosis paper. The doctors also refused to take responsibility for her mistake. The nurse was laughing and said, "Oh, I was supposed to take someone else's blood," and right in front of us, she threw the blood sample in the dustbin and walked away. When we complained about her to the main doctor, he said, "I didn't write that, why are you telling me?" They were completely useless--both the doctors and the nurses. It seems they only got the job through quotas and have absolutely no knowledge. Worst hospital ever.

It was a very bad experience. I did not get my checkup even after standing in the queue from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. I said that it is not 2 pm yet, but did not get any reply. At 1:45 pm itself I was asked to come tomorrow.

I think docs and helpers can try to be more polite at least with the ones who are cooperative and well-mannered...that's it!!!! thanks for the services
