Dr. Dr Arun Kochar, Additional Director Cardiology | Fortis Mohali

I have known Dr Arun Kochar for more than six years. He was assigned to treat my mother in law when I had rushed her to emergency then. Found him to be professional and at the same time reassuring. He not only did all that was necessary for my mother in law's survival but also kept answering all my queries. Since last five years, he has been treating my father-in-law and also my mother for their heart problems. Never has he got any excessive tests done and does only what is right for the patient. He is easily accessible to his patients virtually around the clock. He surely is the best cardiologist in our region.

Dr. Arun Kochar is par excellent. He combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what next steps look like. I highly recommend Dr.Arun to anyone looking for a specialist.

Dr. Arun Kochar is among One of the worst doctor I have ever come across in my life. I visited the hospital for normal check up, but he led me to undergo angiography without any requirement. Also, he mentioned that I have some disease since 2002 , in my discharge summary. Which I actually not have. This lead me to decline my insurance claim and cancellation of my insurance by the company. On approaching and repeat requests, he did not cooperate and did not even listened and behaved abnormally. Pls be aware and advance alert before going for treatment with Dr. Arun Kochar pls.

Dr Arun Kochar is the best cardiologist in the region . He is the most genuine doctor. He gives the best clinical opinion to his patients and takes care of them personally. As a doctor I sought a personal opinion for myself and I was fully satisfied

Dr. Arun has been a life savior for my father through the emergency admission for cardiac arrest. He has been the voice of calm, trust and thoughts in our tough times and helped navigate this tough situation. He has also been very detailed oriented and active for the post op follow-ups and supporting with ad-hoc questions that we have.

Sir is one of the finest doctors I've ever been to..He has treated numerous patients till date and all of them speak very highly of him.. as gives best advices and the way he interacts with his patients steals the show ... His patience is highly remarkable as he listens to each and everything very carefully... He makes one comfortable and the hospitality he gives is also great .. Not recommended .. unnecessarily suggest expensive test to everyone for his own benefit. He suggest extra test to me and other patients who had just gone for general health check up .. my TMT and all reports are ok but he suggest me fibroscan that cost me 7000 rs extra on existing 4000 cardiac health check up package...
