Dr. Apollo Cradle & Children's Hospital in Amritsar

Excellent hospital, excellent facilities, excellent staff be it doctors, nurses and helpers. Everyone in this hospital is doing amazing jobs and making our life easier in every way. Special thanks to Dr. Sita Sharma, who helped me thorough out my high risk pregnancy and safely delivered our bundle of joy . She is the bestest doctor i have ever met. Thank you and God Bless you all.

Dr Sujata sharma and sita sharma are really good. They give us proper guidance. Final billing process takes lot of time. I am waiting since 9:00 am for billing process. They are giving one or another reason for delay in billing process but patient is not getting discharged. I requested them to atleast let the patient go and I will give the final payments. They are delaying the billing process and not letting the patient go. Feeling stuck in hospital. Doctors and nursing staff is good. But admin dept is delaying the final bill for motives best known to them.

Very disappointed with the ultrasound department at this hospital. They ask patients to arrive by 1 PM, yet make them wait over 2 hours without any updates or explanation. What's worse is that unless you go out of your way to ask, no one bothers to inform you about the delay or how much longer it will be. The nurses outside take no responsibility for communicating with waiting patients and seem completely indifferent to the situation. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience--patients deserve better treatment and at the very least, basic communication.

Thanks to Dr. Sumeet for providing the required fertility treatment, I finally conceived after 10 years. She communicated the process in detail and made sure we understand n follow it. She always replied quickly if I ever msgd her after hours.The staff in Apollo is also polite n helpful. I would recommend Dr Sumeet if anyone is seeking Fertility treatment.

All the hospital staff doing great work , thankyou apollo craddle , special thanks to Dr Meenu Arora , our experience was all good except for experience with dr Latika uppal (the only senior consultant neonatologist available with hospital ) , I wish i had some options other than her , I dont mind her rudeness arrogance and atitude which is also bad , but her diagnose and treatment is not good , she keeps on running tests for precaution , she keeps baby in nicu for first 12 hours for observation only , she gives newborn continous antibiotics for precaution only . I was tipped by Hospital staff and and my friends who have been to appollo cradle earlier to not to worry and it is the practice of neonatology department to bring newborn baby to nicu for few hours for no big reason but to charge some extra bucks . On the day of follow up after discharge , we arrived at 1.40 pm in Dr latika's clinic in the hospital , she told us rudely to come before 1.30 pm next time or meet her in her clinic in evening otherwise , i confirmed timmings for visiting her from reception which told me , its 12 to 2 pm .. Dr Latika again told us for for a test as he suspected jaundice on the follow up day , but again her diagnose was bad and baby was doing good . One more bad thing of apollo craddle , they charged senior consultant visiting charges rs 2000 other than nicu charges and other usable items charges , because my baby was not in her room but was in another room ( nicu room ) down the corridor on the same foor. they have this rule that if baby is in his/her room then visit is inclusive of package and if baby is in nicu room then you should pay rs 2000 extra for doctor walking few extra steps for visit. Apollo craddle should improve their neonatology department , should hire some senior consultant with good experience and record who can satisfactorily and humbly treat newborns . also please dont play cheap tricks for asking money , you guys are already charging enough or if you really have to ask directly in the package amount , people will pay happily..

The doctors are really good and so was the head nurse that I dealt with but I had a surgery done and I was kept under observation for few minutes after the surgery in an observation ward. I was still coming out of anesthesia and was not able to even lift my head properly and move my body but was able to hear clearly. I was asked to move from observation room's bed to my room bed on my own. The helpers that were supposed to move me from one bed to another kept telling me to move on my own and didn't help me at all and when I told them that I cannot move they didn't hear me. The nurse in the room kept saying the same thing and after multiple attempts I had to move myself on my own. The helpers even told the nurse that she is saying that she cannot move but nurse said no she has to move on her own. All this happened 20minutes after my surgery. SUCH POOR ADMINISTRATION AND HEARTLESS NURSES RUIN THE NAME OF GREAT DOCTORS WORKING IN THIS HOSPITAL.

Very nice staff and services. My little angel took birth through normal delivery on 26 September 2019,at Apollo cradle, Amritsar. Special thanks to Dr. Seema Mam who encouraged and supported me for the normal delivery. Thanks to the cooperative staff in delivery room esp. Gagan (Nurse) and also Amaninder ( Manager), and Komal for organizing the events for pampering the moms to be ,,, and many more... I enjoyed the throughout journey of my pregnancy at Apollo cradle.
