Dr. CardioLabs - Echocardiogram I Holter I ECG I BP

This is my second visit to see Will. What a lovely, professional guy he is. He treated me with dignity and respect. Explained everything as he went. Has a lovely manner about him. I highly recommend him.

I had my echocardiogram done at Cardiolab Clinic in Lower Hutt on July 18, 2025, and I'm very pleased with the care I received. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. I would especially like to commend my sonographer, Maria, for doing an excellent job. She was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also warm, respectful, and reassuring throughout the procedure. She took the time to explain what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable at all times. It's not always easy going through heart-related tests, but Maria's kind approach made a big difference. Thank you to the team at Cardiolab Lower Hutt--and to Maria--for the outstanding service. Highly recommended.

As I was in the Hutt Valley for a few days recently, I contacted Cardiolabs on Monday, 12 May 2025 to enquire about the possibility of having an echocardiogram done. In the area where I live, I was told it could take 2, 3 or even 6 months to get an appointment so I was very surprised to find that an appointment was available on Friday, 16 May 2025, which I accepted. Will Robinson was my first point of contact with Cardiolabs - he was also the Sonographer and throughout my enquiry and also the 'echo', he was reassuring, professional and explained the process which made me feel very comfortable. It was refreshing to find a health service willing and able to provide a prompt service rather than make you feel 'fobbed' off. I would most certainly encourage friends and family to contact Cardiolabs should they need this type of service - especially if they want an efficient, friendly, and supportive response. Will was excellent and put me at my ease ahead of my first echocardiogram. He introduced himself at the beginning, which is the first sign of a good clinician in my book. He guided me through what he was doing which I found both interesting and reassuring. He gave me a clear indication of when my GP and I would both receive the report, which is exactly what happened. Those of the CardioLabs Team I met in the course of my recent appointment were curtious, interactive and highly professional. The comprehensive written report was issued the next day which was a Saturday. I would certainly have no doubt about returning to them should I need further examinations.
