Dr. Ghotavadekar Hospital

I actually wanted to write a personal message to the doctors, burses and staff who helped save my mother in a severe respiratory trauma at SpO2 of 50% and PR on tachycardia of 145+. We arrived from Mahabaleshwar guided by Dr. Prashant Gawade on 21 June 2025, with my mother in severe respiratory illness. They quickly took xray, ecg, blood reports. I do not remember the names of the doctors, so I am using the word 'they', but Dr. Ghotavadekar was present for sure. We were advised to go to AICTS, Pune by cardiac ambulance. Within 90 mins of our reaching Ghotavadekar hospital and all the diagnosis, cardiac ambulance had arrived. We went to Pune in about 3.5 hours, into AICTS. My mother spent 15 painful days in respiratory ICU, 27 tests, various painful invasive procedures, peritoneal taps and continuous oxygen support for 16-17 days(started at 12 liters per minute). Finally after 16 days in respiratory icu at AICTS, we were moved to Command hospital, Pune after she was diagnosed with High Grade Peritoneal Seros Carcinoma. She underwent 3 weekly chemos.After more than a month, we finally returned to Chennai on July 25th and we are continuing the chemos here. Sincere gratitudes to Ghotavadekar hospital for guiding us in the right way to take cardiac ambulance and head to AICTS, Pune. If not for this right timely decision, I would have lost my mother in the car on the way to Pune. I dont have the number of any of the doctors who helped that day, hence posting this as a review. They explained my condition clearly, addressed all my concerns, and provided excellent care with a genuine focus on my well-being. The nurses were always available, kind, and supportive, making me feel comfortable and cared for even during difficult moments."

Worst hospital worst staff. Highly recommended dont go here wastage of money no proper care for patients. Illiterate staff no cordination can't speak properly with patients.

I had the worst experience at this hospital. The staff behavior was unprofessional and third class, making the entire visit incredibly frustrating. The doctors were irresponsible and seemed incapable of understanding sonography reports clearly. This lack of competence and care is unacceptable. I would never suggest this hospital to anyone.

Very arrogant & careless staff not providing proper treatment to patient & hospital parking issue as well as doctors not comes properly to follow up round in IPD patient.
