Patient Reviews
Extremely disappointing and distressing experience. This hospital failed to take timely and appropriate medical actions. Despite the critical condition of my father following an accident, doctors did not attend to him promptly. Doctors arrived nearly 17 hours after admission. Initially, he wasn't even provided a bed in the emergency room and was left waiting for hours, during which his condition deteriorated further. The hospital staff created an atmosphere of fear and panic, pressuring our family into agreeing to procedures we were hesitant about. We were coerced into approving an MRI under the threat that he could fall into a coma or require ventilation. When we expressed concerns, they attempted to shift all responsibility onto us, rather than offering clear medical guidance. Once admitted, discharging the patient became incredibly difficult, and the staff was frequently rude and uncooperative--not only to the patient but also to family members. This kind of unethical and insensitive treatment is absolutely unacceptable. Hospitals are meant to save lives, not exploit vulnerable families. This hospital needs to be held accountable for such gross negligence. It is alarming how recklessly they operate, and such practices should be thoroughly investigated and addressed by the appropriate authorities.
RIMS Hospital in Amravati is a well-known healthcare institution that provides medical services to the community with advanced facilities and experienced professionals. During my experience with RIMS Hospital, I observed a well-organized healthcare environment where patient care and medical excellence were given top priority. The hospital is equipped with modern medical technology, offering services in various specialties like cardiology, orthopedics, general medicine, and surgery. The medical staff, including doctors and nurses, are highly skilled and dedicated to providing quality treatment. The hospital maintains strict hygiene and follows proper medical protocols, ensuring patient safety. One of the key aspects I noticed was the hospital's commitment to emergency care, with a well-functioning ICU and trauma center. Additionally, the OPD services were well-managed, with systematic patient flow and minimal waiting times. Overall, my experience at RIMS Hospital was insightful, as I got to witness the dedication of healthcare professionals and the impact of quality medical care on people's lives.
I am a national-level basketball player, and during my nationals trials, I injured my shoulder. I had to undergo surgery, and after that, I began physiotherapy. With the help of my physiotherapists, my strength and range of motion gradually improved, which has been a very important part of my recovery journey. Physiotherapy Department Overview The Physiotherapy Department, led by Dr. Vibhuti Boob, is a well-managed and supportive space for healing and recovery. It's known for its professional approach. My sports physiotherapist, Dr. Komal Sangani, has been a key part of my rehabilitation. She is incredibly kind, caring, and professional, always guiding me with patience and encouragement. Her knowledge and gentle approach have helped me regain both strength and confidence. With experts like Dr. Vibhuti Boob, Dr. Komal Sangani, and the team, the department offers not just treatment but true support and motivation through every step of recovery.
25 days back we admitted my work colleague at their hospital. It is very true that doctor do not provide proper information. In our case we were told you have 5 mins to decided to do operation or we put patient on ventilator. Infact whole day patient was admitted in hospital and all the test we were conducting. In night doctor was suppose to come by 10 pm but he come by 10.30 and given 5 mins to decide. The situations by doctors created that way that we just say yes to them for surgery. In our case also we said yes for surgery and Dr Gandhi did it. The surgery went successfully , patient was getting better and after 10-12 days they said he had lot of cough , fever so we need to keep him in ICU only . Almost for 20-25 days patient was kept in ICU. Then they say that he got ulcer in stomach due to antibiotics and his pulse , Bp is going down so we recommend you take them to nagpur. Day before yesterday we took patient to nagpur and directly we had to put it on ventilator and yesterday we lost the person at the age of 50 and who was recovering well. If the operations went well and then why things went out of control and then you asking us to take patient to nagpur?? The patient name is Dr Prashant Dharmadhikari. We never wanted to treat him in this hospital but that's the nearest hospital where first we admitted to diagnosis the issue. It's always recommend to take the patient to nagpur or Mumbai for better treatment.
Beware this hospital follows multiple malicious and corrupt practices. 1. My patients file was snatched from me stating it is not allowed for patients family to read. 2. I have charged certain higher illegitimate room charges which they didn't send to insurer and diffrence amount was charged from me even though my insurer confirm there is no capping for my room charges. I requested multiple times that let the insurer Reject the request if threshold is exceeded. 3. They charged bills looking and asking the maximum insurance cover patient have, which their employee unknowingly accepted infront of me. 4. No parking provided for 7000 rs room also parking space is utilized as admin department not sure if corporation is sleeping and not taking any action. 5. My basic door stopper didn't change after multiple request for 7000 rs per day room. Even great franchise hospitals like Jupiter, Ruby, Jahangir,.. and Hotels like Hyaat , Novotel, Ginger many more won't charge you this Only positive was exceptional Doctors, nurses and cleaning team.
Physiotherapy Department is very nice and heart whelming under Dr. Vibhuti ma'am,(pt) mpt neuro physiotherapy from Nair, Mumbai. Staff is very cooperative and crowd is very cheerful and friendly. Drs (pt) Shreya, Preeti, Ashwini, Komal, and technicians mrs shubhangi and jyoti tai are all very helpful and cheering. Atmosphere is home like and encouraging. Though always crowed a little expansion in work space and staff will be appreciated.
I had a very negative experience at a RIM hospital in Amaravati. The focus seems to be on profit, not patient care. The doctors lack proper treatment guidance, and experimental practices are used. I was shocked to hear a doctor say a patient's heart had stopped during treatment. Avoid this hospital. If you really urgent then 1st read this hospital all negatives comments then take call .
