Dr. Metropolitan Hospital (Trichur Metropolitan Health Care Pvt Ltd )

I recently visited Metropolitan Hospital to consult a doctor for my knee injury, and the experience was far from pleasant. First off, the phone number listed on Google Maps is inactive. I tried multiple times to reach them for an appointment, but eventually had to go in person just to get things moving. Once I reached, I felt like I had stepped into a system from a hundred years ago. Instead of a proper queue or token system, a "sister" figure was manually collecting bills and calling patients seemingly at her own convenience. I was told I'd be seen in 30 minutes,it's been over 2 hours, and I'm still waiting. What was more frustrating was the attitude of the staff. The nurses (or "sisters") seemed more interested in chatting with medical representatives than doing their actual job. This girl was scrolling and enjoying Instagram reels like seriously ? Honestly, their sense of authority and behavior was more overpowering than the doctors themselves. So unless it's a true emergency, I'd suggest avoiding this place altogether. It really feels like it's running on a bus from the 1900s.

I used to go to this hospital for the past one year. So far the service is good and that's due to the attitude of the doctors, I felt. This time I went to meet Dr Pramod Mohan and I had to wait 2 hours in spite of taking an appointment, being my token no 10. I was the last patient to be called in and the reason they gave me was, I was a new patient. I thought they had to collect my details and all that needed a longer consulting time. To my surprise, I was dismissed in 5+ minutes. What a scenario! I lost my half day waiting there to be consulted for 5 mins, even though my number was 10. Realky poor experience, from the doctor too

I had a very disappointing experience at Metropolitan Hospital, Thrissur. While the hospital itself may provide necessary medical services, the behavior of some staff members, particularly in the lab and pharmacy, is completely unacceptable. They are extremely rude, unprofessional, and lack basic manners when dealing with patients and bystanders. Despite raising a complaint with the management, nothing has changed, and they seem unbothered by the concerns of patients. A hospital should be a place of care and compassion, but unfortunately, that is not the case here. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone expecting respectful treatment. I sincerely hope the hospital takes this issue seriously and improves their staff's attitude toward patients.

We are very satisfied about the treatment, doctors and nursing care here. Good managing system and very hygienic also. Caring of the staff is very co operative

I don't know much about other services in this hospital except that Dr. JIM ortho is very good and my mother very good opiion with JIM doctor . He is very good at his job and very frienly & listening to others . He is available weekly once and very busy schedule to get appointments.
