About Dr. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) Department of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology
The PMR department is located in the 1st floor of middle (2nd) block of hospital wing of Sree Chitra hospital. The department rehab team consists of a physiatrist and 7 staff physiotherapists. Active internship/observership programs are running here for BPT/MPT students. Physiatry and physiotherapy services are offered by the department both to inpatients and outpatients. Patients needing neurorehab, cardiovascular rehab, musculoskeletal and rheumatological rehab are managed here. Management includes medications, injections, focussed physiotherapy with advanced equipment and expert advice on rehab surgeries, assistive technology. Rehabilitation Clinic OP is located inside the department.

Department of MCH Thiruvananthapuram. Located near the police station and Post office towards Kumarapuram route from MCH main gate. No parking for patients. Better to park in MCH compoud and come by walk. Neat and clean facilities.Professional staffs. Vastly experienced doctors

The advanced certificate course offered by the department is equivalent to Canadian post graduate diploma and it is recognised by HCPC of UK as an additional qualification.
