Daylight Robbery in the Name of a Hospital Cafe! Spice Retreat Cafe at KIMS Health, Trivandrum is a complete rip-off. Charging 25 for a single cup of tea is nothing short of daylight robbery. This is not some five-star luxury restaurant--this is inside a hospital where people are already emotionally and financially drained. How on earth do you expect ordinary, struggling families to afford such outrageously overpriced food? It's absolutely shameful that a place meant to serve patients and their attendants is instead squeezing money from them at every turn. The management should be held accountable. A hospital cafeteria should prioritize affordability and empathy, not profit and exploitation. This is not just bad service--it's a complete disgrace. You're feeding off people's distress, and that's disgusting. Strongly urge people to bring their own food if possible and avoid this overpriced mess unless the hospital steps in and regulates this blatant price-gouging.

A good hospital with all facilities and specialty clinics. Parking space is a bit headache. This hospital is well connected to NH bypass road from kazhakoottam to Kovalam.

Your rooms are poorly maintained. Dampness in the ceiling are disturbing. Lift cabins are at their worst shape

The facilities and ambience is international class. Suggestion to aged parents coming for visa medical. Food option not so great for their age. Its expensive and they promote either Nonveg combo or a buffet veg. Still nonveg is promoted more. Veg food is unlimited but basic. Not worth 190. Taste wise food is good. You can choose normal foods from outside tea stalls.. Reaching here from Kochuveli railway station, prefer KSRTC low floor bus from railway station entrance only 15. Distance is about 2 km.

It takes whole day just to do single scan when we have taken appointment in advance which is very disappointing according to hospital reputation.

Nov 20, 2024 - my wife underwent a c-section and gave birth to a handsome baby boy at KIMS Our experience at KIMS was fantastic. Firstly our primary doctor, Mrs Valsama Chacko (Senior Consultant). She was a gem, very polite, had lots of patience to answer our questions and did not create a sense of panic even though there were some slight complications. She is a very experienced doctor and that experience clearly showed in her decision making, her foresight and method of treatment. We would highly recommend her. Also would like to mention Dr Grishma, Anesthesiologist, All labour room nurses & doctors for their great service. While we were at the ward, we received great care from Ms Rakhi, Ms Shalom & Ms Chinchu. The hospital has a good housekeeping team, they ensure the rooms are cleaned twice a day. Special thanks to Mr Ruben, (Operations Manager) for his contant support throughout our stay at KIMS. The room & bathroom was spacious. We were there for 7 days, so the additional space, constant cleaning and aminities in the room was beneficial. Overall, exceptional service & care from KIMS.
