Dr. Dr Sheela Shenoy

I was curious to have a routine medical check up here for my wife. Especially being new to trivandrum, relying on google review was the only one option to choose a better and affordable gynecologist. As the whole review says, Dr Sheela Shenoy is an awesome doctor with appreciable politeness towards patients. Obviously we will recommend her to any couple around us ! One of the Famous Gynaecologist in the city. Her Home is located near Chalakuzhi Road Medical College.

We had gone to her Cosmopolitan hospital for my wife's delivery. We had gone there for normal delivery but this lady made it a c-section. There was absolutely no complication till the last moment of the delivery. She asked me where do i work. I din know this lady was trying to understand i was able to afford a c-section. She made it a section which would otherwise been a normal delivery because she couldn't wait for another two hours. Feels a little betrayed by such doctors whom we trust. I don't know why others give good reviews about her but i do not have any impression about her. She doesn't not really care even to have a good connect with the patient and is quite arrogant in her speaking style and makes the patient and family scared to lure them into a c-section. I would never advise anyone in my friends and family to be referred to her.

One of worst doctor in Trivandrum. Taking most of things granted. She will put baby and mother both in danger postion by not taking precautions. She is very busy doctor. She is not able to manage her patients. Not giving time to see history etc.. Treating all patients in same way iron calcium folic acid nothing etc... Not observing mother body behaviour. If you want to put your baby delivery in risk then go to her.

Very experienced doctor.. she knows exactly what is required and when... She was strong support during my pregnancy... Her words are enough for gathering courage nd feeling better... Her smile takes away half of your illness... One starts feeling better just by looking at her smile...

Very good doctor. Make me comfortable and ask about all difficulties during every consultation. Her care and attitude is a pregnant lady really want at that time. Thankyou mam never forget your smiling face in my entire life

Doctors typically should be considerate and kind, especially gynecologists as they deal with pregnant ladies who already have lot of challenges during pregnancy. But this doctor is very rude at times and totally inconsiderate towards patients. I would NOT suggest this doctor to anyone.
