I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. After my token number was called, I was made to wait for a long time without any explanation. The delay was due to the nurse handling Dr. Sandeep Narayanan's tokens, which caused unnecessary confusion and frustration. Clear communication and better management would greatly improve the patient experience.

Patient Reviews
I recently visited Thalassery Cooperative Hospital and had a positive experience overall. The staff--from reception to nurses--were polite and helpful throughout my visit. The doctors are experienced and take time to listen to patients before suggesting treatment, which I appreciated. The general OP section was quite busy, but the system was fairly organized, and my waiting time was manageable. One of the highlights is their affordable pricing, which makes healthcare accessible to all sections of society. The pharmacy and lab services were also reliable, and reports were delivered on time. That said, the hospital can work on improving parking facilities and crowd management during peak hours. Some departments might benefit from better coordination and quicker service flow. Overall rating: 4/5 A trustworthy choice for affordable and quality care in Thalassery.
I've visited this hospital multiple times for orthopedic consultations and have always had a positive experience. Dr. Hari Kumar, the orthopedic specialist, is very genuine--he didn't prescribe unnecessary medications for a minor fracture and provided clear, supportive guidance throughout the recovery process. I also brought my father here for a gastroenterology consultation with Dr. Sandeep Narayanan. His prompt response and the way he managed my father's condition were truly commendable. The care my father received was excellent. The entire hospital team was attentive, timely, and handled everything with great professionalism. I highly recommend this hospital for both orthopedic and gastroenterology care.
Very poor experience with the hospital pharmacy. My father is a stroke patient, and we submitted a prescription with 5 medicines. But the pharmacist only gave 4 medicines -- one was missing. We were not informed about the missing medicine, and we didn't know to ask. This is very careless behavior. For patients with serious conditions like stroke, missing even one medicine can be dangerous. Please take strict action and make sure patients receive complete and proper service.
The doctors and nurses were very professional and caring.. The facilities were clean and well-maintained.......The nursing staff were attentive and provided excellent care...Could Improve signage for easier navigation within the hospital but overall was good visiting
My wife has appointed the hospital for Pregnancy treatment for 7 days. Very bad treatment ever. Because of the reasons below. 1. Hospital facility is very bad 2.No parking inside the premises q 3.The room and facilities are very bad (Very old building) 4. Still they are using bad bed sheet and cloths 5.They are drying the clothes in very bad condition which is used in ICU also. 6. Pedestrians Mr.Devanandhan is very bad approach to the partilants. Only mouth publicity he had. 7.Don't take chance for health. Better to consult with Government hospital Thalassery. It's a far far better than this hospital.
So much of arrogance in the behaviour of nursing staff, from junior to senior, from ward to ICU.. Nightingale comparison would be only in books or media, as far as co-op hospital nursing staff are concerned. Very few are exceptions and they perform remarkably. Have CC cameras installed and monitored consistently in all places including ICUs to check such rude and inhuman behavior of nursing staff. (Could hear a neuro icu nurse screaming at my father and using cuss words, when he was restless after restraining. That is not the way to handle an 86 yrs old patient who is already having so many complications. Absolutely no ethics. Cruelty at its peak. Hospital must use CC cameras to monitor the nursing staff inside the neuro icu.)
Good treatment. All staffs behave is nice.My one opinion matter is casuality doctors is not experienced so pls one request well experienced doctors available casuality.
