We had a pre-booked morning appointment, scheduled over a month in advance. Despite arriving on time at 11 AM, we were only seen by the doctor at 10 PM. This resulted in an entire day wasted just waiting, which was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. If appointments cannot be honored as scheduled, there should at least be better communication or a more efficient system to manage such delays.

Very good service. Canteen food rate big.[kadala & egg -75] Doctors,nurses,staff, etc My father underwent Kidney Stone Laser Surgery (RIRS) at this hospital. I saw many doctors and there was no good treatment anywhere. But here the surgery was done very nicely without any complications.
My friend had a keyhole surgery here and so, I had to stay there for a few days. Overall the medical experience was great . Experienced doctors and very friendly nurses & staffs. Even though the treatment was great, that was not the case for the bystanders. There's no AC in the waiting areas or hallways (actually there is, but either it's not working or turned down so low) and in the summer season this was a huge pain. There was only a wall fan in the room so I slept at the main reception area of the hospital. There's no water in many filters and the food in the canteen was mediocre . The parking is very small and you have to park on the road in most cases.
This hospital undoubtedly stands out as one of the premier healthcare institutions in Kerala. My experience here has been truly exceptional, with a level of staff dedication and coordination that I have rarely encountered elsewhere. Despite being told by numerous doctors that my husband's prognosis was grim, I decided to take a chance and seek treatment here. Fortunately, the medical team, led by the remarkable Dr. Arun Gopi, defied expectations and successfully pulled my husband back from the brink. I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the coordinator, Aneesh and his team whose unwavering support and assistance proved invaluable throughout our journey.
I had an exceptional experience at Metromed International Cardiac Centre (MICC), and I can confidently say it stands among the best cardiac hospitals in Kerala. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and highly professional. The hospital is equipped with the latest technology, which gave me great confidence in the care I was receiving. The team of doctors--especially the cardiologists--were not only extremely knowledgeable but also took the time to explain every step of the diagnosis and treatment process. Their commitment to patient care is truly commendable. The support staff, including nurses and administrative personnel, were always ready to help with a smile.
On 30 July, I was disappointed by the unprofessional and unhelpful behavior of the reception staff. They seemed disinterested and inattentive, offering little to no assistance. Despite my polite inquiries, I was met with delayed responses, vague answers, and at times, a dismissive attitude. This caused unnecessary confusion and delay in my doctor visit process.
From Airport We reached hospital with critical life threatening condition , perfect responds from hospital team helps to overcome the situation .well trained doctors and nurses and paramedical staff's supports and quick repose was very appreciated . Room and patient's food is good .post op care also appreciated. You need to be aware of the following issues:. The rooms are extremely untidy and equipped with very old furniture and beds. I was charged 6 lakhs for cryoablation. It is crucial to be vigilant about the billing, as there is a risk of being charged twice for the same items due to the lack of proper bifurcation for treatments. Make sure to demand comprehensive billing details. This is due to the fact that they offer everything as a package; you are not charged for the services you receive or the products they use. This affects your insurance claim. If there is no proper bifurcation, the insurance company may deduct a straight 20% from the bill. Thus, understand your rights and obtain accurate information regarding the bill and treatment. It is evident that the primary reason for choosing this hospital is the exceptional quality of the doctors. The nursing staff are inept. Alternatively, they could be underpaid to perform.
