Dr. CHEST HOSPITAL

I visited the chest hospital recently. While the doctor and receptionist were very kind , helpful and very good service. But, the lab technician attending enquiries was extremely rude and uncooperative. Very bad behaviour They didn't explain anything properly and acted angry for no reason. Another patient with me had the same experience. This kind of behaviour is really disappointing.

The behavior of the nurses is very disappointing and arrogant. They are not treating the patients properly. They don't seem to have time to address the concerns of either the patients or their bystanders. They are often distracted by their mobile phones and frequently engage in personal conversations, including unnecessary and inappropriate discussions. Please train your nurses on how to behave professionally with patients. Remind them that they are working in a hospital, not a marketplace. They need to understand the importance of politeness and respect in their role. My doctor was very efficient and approachable, but unfortunately, the nurses did not meet the same standard.

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my experience at Chest Hospital. The doctor's behavior was unprofessional and greedy. Despite the patient's critical condition, they performed surgery on a seemingly unrecoverable wound. Unfortunately, the patient's condition worsened post surgery, with the wound increasing in severity. The doctor's priorities seemed skewed, with financial gain taking precedence over proper care. The lack of empathy and transparency was appalling. I strongly advise against visiting this hospital, and instead recommend seeking medical attention elsewhere. The nurses were friendly, attentive.. They made sure patient was comfortable and well taken care of.. However, the hospital itself is a bit outdated and could use some modernization. Older facilities and Some medical equipment doesn't work properly. the bills were quite high even its an older hospital.

Staff are very friendly. Good parking facilities(Free)cafeteria on ground floor, Washoon room first floor Calicut private bustand and ksrtc bus stand 10 min walkable distance only!! Pharmacy on ground floor but unfortunately their service is very delay always.. Over all good hospital when we compare to nearby hospitals...

Recently visited the chest hospital for an emergency consultation for my wife. The front office staff was helpful and professional -- I would give them 5 stars. However, the experience in the casualty section was very disappointing. The staff there were extremely lazy and careless. Shockingly, they were attending to patients without wearing gloves or masks, which is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. Overall, a very poor experience. Not what you'd expect from a hospital.

House keeping is too bad...!! My Surgery (26.05.2025) is done at 2 pm at afternoon...but they didn't arrange room, becuase of that i was waiting almost 4 hrs in OT ward on small structure.....But OT Staffs & Dr. Lakhmi is

Date: 25/04/25 Time: 6.45 PM Place: [chest hospital /Kozhikode stadium] Today, when I arrived at the hospital as an accident patient, I had a very bad experience at the cash counter. When I went to collect the OP ticket, I was told that I had to pay Rs. 205. They told me that the bill was Rs. 200 and the mask was Rs. 5. But they said that they could not give me a bill of Rs. 5. When I said that I could not pay without a bill, they took the advance sheet and gave me an adjusted bill. In the meantime, there were abusive responses and behavior beyond what was necessary from their side. Please, those who go there, do not pay more than the bill. Ask for the bill and make sure.... ---

The behavior of the nurse who treated us is very disappointing and arrogant. She is not treating the patients properly. Too bad. We had very bad experiencing.
