Dr. Baby Memorial Hospital

This hospital is located in a prime and easily accessible area of calicut, which is a huge plus for anyone needing quick access to quality medical care. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a highly professional staff that ensures patients receive top-notch treatment across various specialties. One notable drawback, is the limited parking space. Given its central location, finding a parking spot can be quite challenging during peak hours, which may be inconvenient for patients and visitors. A paid parking facility is available nearby.

i visited Baby Memorial Hospital in Calicut twice today because i was experiencing severe period related pain, vomiting, and headache. Unfortunately, the service at the Casualty Department was extremely poor. The staff seemed more engaged in their casual conversations than attending to patients. When we asked for help, their responses were dismissive . Yeah, we'll come and look.but no one actually did anything. After being discharged, we had food at a nearby hotel, but her pain persisted. We returned to the same hospital, hoping for better care, but again received the same poor service. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of us rather than help. We ended up writing a complaint in their suggestion box, but honestly, it felt like they wouldn't even look at it. Hospitals should prioritize patient care and compassion, especially in emergencies. Sadly, our experience was the opposite. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of service.

It is clean. I got good doctor service. The paper bag that gives medicine is good. The behavior of the staff is good. I did not think it was a good way to take cash as registration fee. I first sought treatment in the OP department. I do not know what the other treatment is like. The name of the dr I saw for treatment is Viswanathan ENT. He has a good personality. My son got good treatment. Medicine is also good.It is not right to release waste water from the Baby Hospital into the Connolly Canal. The management should pay close attention to this.

A special appreciation goes to Ms. Lalitha from the customer service team, who was incredibly supportive and kind throughout our visit. Her attentiveness, follow-up, and helpful nature made everything smooth from appointments to clarifications on services. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and informed at every step. Highly recommend Baby Memorial Hospital for anyone looking for trusted healthcare support and excellent patient care.

It was a bad practice when the Baby Memorial came yesterday. What happened was that we came to show a painful wound. Without even doing a detailed checkup, the Dr. wrote two MRI scans and blood tests. We will understand the target. But this should not be done on poor patients. To achieve your target, examine the sick and write only if necessary. Change this practice. This method is not in line with the ethics of doctors.. ok

I would like to thank Ms. Sheeba (plastic surgery dept) for her kind and professional care during my hospital visit. She was always helpful, polite, and attentive, making me feel comfortable and well looked after. Her dedication and calm nature are truly appreciated. She is a great asset to the hospital team.

The first thing I liked about the hospital is the Nursing staff. They were really caring and helpful. The rest of the office staff were also good. The hospital has no parking whatsoever and it is very difficult to find parking. There is a paid parking lot that charges 50 rupees for parking. It is a one time entry fee valid till midnight. You exit the parking lot and enter the parking lot the same day, you have to pay again. I ended up paying 250 rupees in one day just for parking. They need to do something about parking. Management is money minded, so are all hospitals. But I have seen better service in other hospitals. A patient who was brought to the hospital at 11 am, is going round and round in the building, one test after the other, waiting for 20 minutes at every scan/testing room and when all the tests were completed, it was 6 pm. There should be a separate, faster process for patients who require immediate assistance. I have mixed feelings about the canteen food, some items are.good, some are not.

Very poor service at the Casualty Department. Staff were more interested in chatting than helping patients. Came twice with my friend who was in severe pain but got no proper care.
