Even though the doctors are good but sometimes I feel like they are more business minded than patient satisfaction. They tried maximum to delay the discharge to an extent they could and even did that by saying "we will give discharge but it will be at your risk". This experience was specific to the nicu experience.

I had two experiences at this hospital, and both showed how they exploit patients with insurance. First time, I was admitted for tonsillitis infection. The hospital gave a bill of 36,000 when they thought the treatment would be covered by insurance. But when the insurance claim was rejected, they immediately issued a revised bill of 18,000 - exactly half. This raised serious doubts about their actual charges. Recently, I was admitted again under a cashless insurance policy. The hospital told us that they received approval for only 9,500 from the insurance company, and we were forced to pay an additional 8,500 from our own pocket. That's almost 50% of the bill, even though we had valid insurance. It's very clear the hospital is inflating charges for insured patients, just to make more money from both the insurance companies and the patients themselves. This is not just unethical - it's exploitative. I am writing this review to warn others. If you're planning to use insurance here, please be cautious, ask for a detailed bill, and question every charge. Hospitals are meant to care, not cheat.

We had a very good experience at EMC Hospital. We consulted Dr. Lisamma, gynecologist. She is highly supportive, compassionate, and professional. Her clear explanations and patient approach gave us great confidence throughout the treatment. The hospital maintains excellent standards in medical care, with dedicated staff and a clean, welcoming environment. Nurses and support staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. My journey with emc started from year 2023. Have started visiting here for gynac related issues for fertility since I have pcos for years. Got excellent guidance from Dr.Sheela mam from gynacology department and conceived without iui or ivf in 6 months time naturally. During 6th month which is around 27 weeks i have veen hospitalized for severe back pain. Dr.Sheela(gynac) and Dr.Sanel(urologist) identified the kidney stone and the size was very huge to pass through urine. I have been under Dr.Sanel and Dr.Sheela observation for 15 days as they want to ease my pain due to stone and should not affect my pregnancy and baby. Dr. Sanel advised to proceed with stent in kidney as a temporary measure till delivery and the same was placed to save me and baby. The support both emotionally and medically given by both doctors ( Sheela and Sanel) cannot be expressed in words. I had regular follow up with Dr.sanel till the baby is delivered as had recurrent uti on last trimester. Also with all these complications, Dr Sheela (gynac) made me to deliver baby normally and very very immensely gratefully to her. Her emotional support and personal care cannot be weighed and described through words. After delivery, with help of Dr.Sanal (urologist) the stone and stent from Kidney are removed with minimal invasive procedure and all the issues are sorted. We as family are very grateful to EMC and the doctors we consulted Thank you so much team.
