I have been consulting Dr.Sandeep Prabhakar with regard to my urinal flow issue because of prostate.Flow was weak and not as required.I opted for medicines for sometime since I do not wanted to go for a surgery.But as there was not much improvement with the medicines,he suggested to me to go for rezum therapy which is a very safe procedure.I did the rezum therapy in January 2025 at Aster medicity,kochi,which was performed by Dr.Sandeep Prabhakar.Now after about six months I am perfectly Ok,even drastic improvemts started within one month after the procedure.Now all my problems related to urinal flow has been eliminated.I am very grateful to Dr.Sandeep Prabhakar and his team at Aster Medicity.He is a very knowledgeable and fine Doctor in this field.Probably one nof the finest Doctors in urology.He is very humble and down to earth. I visited Dr. Sandeep Prabhakaran for a consultation regarding kidney stone and I was impressed with the level of care I received. Dr. Sandeep took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained the diagnosis clearly, and discussed all available treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. The staff was also efficient, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The follow-up care was also equally excellent.

I underwent treatment with "Rezum" for benign prostatic enlargement at AsterMedcity in December 2024. My urine flow has become normal and I no longer use any medications for prostate problems after two months of surgery. Dr. Sandeep provided me with a clear explanation of the advantages and disadvantages of this new treatment. The entire team of his was very helpful. Be prepared for 10 days after the procedure, where you might encounter a blockage in urine flow and a burning sensation.

I was a patient encountering with urinal problem. I consulted Dr. Sandeep Prabhakar who is well known and a prominent Urologist with mutifaceted personnality in judging, diagonising and identifying root cause of the disease. Dr. Sandeep Prabhakar is a well known Urologist in Ernakulam district. But I have got a bitter experience from him two years back in Aster medcity Hospital. My father who had 77 years of age was suffering from BPH(Enlargement of Prostate gland). He also had High Diabetes and Cardiac patient with only 36% heart pumping capacity. He had been admitted due to covid 19 following bleeding from prostate leading to clot in urine bladder. The bleeding issue rectified by Dr. Sandeep & his team and got discharged from the hospital with catheter for urination. Following on review days the doctor himself & the entire urology team started brainwashing myself & my Dad by advising us to do the surgery of prostate gland without much delay. I have raised concerns over his health condition pointing out his cardiac arrest which occured on one year back & also about the high diabetes. Both these factors are making him into a high risk patient. But he nullified my argument and only asked the patient his name & which is the location he was at that time.Both the questions my Dad answered right.Then Dr. Sandeep said the patient is fit for the surgery. The surgery done & 5 days after the patient got discharged following we have to face frequent hospitalisation.On following admission they have got the idea that the surgery have become a failure &infection started. They then started to forcing us to go home &take rest. It will be ok.The second hospitalisation with heart failure issues admitted under cardiology & Dr. Sandeep & his team washed their hands made it purely a cardiac issue while the root cause was the infection due to surgery done by him.Just only after two weeks from the surgery date lead to a tragic end to my Dad which I will never ever forget or forgive. I believe the greed for money of this doctor & hospital lead to the painful death of my Dad. They tactillay played very well drama in front of us. Now I am seeking treatment only in government hospitals even though I have got all medical reimbursement facilities. I request all people to learn some lessons from incidents like ours. At least take opinions from two senior doctors in different hospitals before going for a decision on surgery especially in the case of high risk patients.Do not believe doctors like Sandeep.Mutispeciality & superspeciality hospitals only see human beings like money making machines. No ethics. No values.Never believe in sweet words of this doctor. He will lead our dear one to death.Patient history should be well studied by surgeon before going for a decision regarding procedure.

Best urologist in Kerala . Very affectionate towards patients and excellent hand in laser prostate surgery. My father in law was on dual anti platelets following angioplasty while we approached Sandeep sir for urinary retention and prostate hyperplasia. He advised as the best possible approach and timing for surgery. We had a very comfortable experience through out the period starting from visiting him in the outpatient department to the postoperative period and follow up.
