The services are very slow. The rooms are not very clean, there is a smell. The hospital is maintained very poorly. Lift services are unimaginable. When asked doctors does not give much idea about your condition. They just hover around. It will take forever to get a discharge. Some of the nurses are good though. They tend to the patients well. However the management has to take note and do something on the hospital provinces given a hospital should be hygiene enough for the patients to get better faster. Not get sicker after coming here.

Had a good experience with AKG Hospital. My grandma was admitted here for almost two weeks due to pneumonia. The nursing staff and doctors provided great care. The treatment and facilities were affordable. However, the cleanliness was awful.

Incompetent staff can ruin the efforts of an entire system. Today, I had a disappointing experience at the hospital -- not with the treatment, but with the pharmacy section. After my consultation with the doctor, I went to the pharmacy to purchase the prescribed medicines. The staff there checked the prescription and told me that one of the medicines was not available and I would have to buy it from an outside medical store. I spent valuable time and effort going to multiple medical shops nearby, only to find that none of them had the medicine in stock. Frustrated, I returned to the hospital and consulted the doctor again, who then prescribed an alternative medicine from another brand. When I handed over the updated prescription at the pharmacy counter, the staff began checking whether I had purchased any of the medicines previously and from which counter. Then, after a brief conversation between the current staff and the one who initially attended to me, I was shocked to learn that the originally prescribed medicine was actually available at the hospital pharmacy all along. This is pure negligence and incompetence. Due to their careless attitude, I was unnecessarily made to run around searching for a medicine that was right there in their inventory. Patients come to hospitals seeking relief and healing, not to deal with additional stress caused by untrained or inattentive staff. Such behavior puts undue pressure on already stressed patients and their caregivers. It's unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
