We were depressed when we first recognized that our son was struggling with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a mother, before reaching Amma Multispeciality Clinic I had so many questions if he could lead a normal life. Now my son could achieve better progress in all his day-to-day activities, skills and I could found solutions for his tantrums for no reason, etc. Above all we got a light of hope from there. We are so grateful to the therapists, special educators, caretakers, and all the people of Team Amma for nurturing, supporting, and encouraging us in all ways.

I completed a month-long internship at AMMA Multispeciality Clinic. While I had expected the focus to be primarily on child cases and behavioral training, I noticed that attention was equally given to both child and adult cases. This may have been due to the limited duration of the internship, but I felt that omitting adult cases and including more childhood disorders would have been more in line with the CDC's focus. The clinic has three different daycares, offering interns plenty of opportunities to spend time with and interact with children, which was a valuable experience. The psychologists are extremely supportive and approachable, always ready to clear doubts and provide guidance. Additionally, the staff from other departments were equally helpful. One of the standout aspects of the clinic was the caretakers and support staff who look after the children. They are simply amazing, offering compassionate care and ensuring the well-being of the children. Despite the mix of cases, the internship offered valuable insights and a supportive environment for learning.
