    My experience with KMC hospital has been great. We have been coming here for various services since the hospital started operating.We are completely satisfied with the services provided by departments such as Gynaecology, Pediatrics, ENT, General, Cardiac, and Neurology, Radiology so far. The staff and doctors are very polite, soft spoken and experts in their work. Fine facility at the hospital with good medical equipment and cleanliness.The surroundings were very peaceful, clean and tidy which is very significant for a hospital.

    We are extremely happy for the expertise and compassionate care provided by the medical team led by Dr. Abhineet in coordination with multidisciplinary experts. Nurses Bincy, Jimsi, and Steffi were all very attentive and compassionate as well as other nurses from 5th & 7th East nurse stations. The ICU team provided timely feedback and support, especially brothers Moncy, Abhinav, and Amal, to name a few. Housekeeping, Maintenance & Security team also provided timely quality service throughout the stay. Administrative services, admission, discharge, etc. were also seamless, appreciate support provided by Ms Aishwarya. Highly recommended for those looking for hygienic, airconditioned, safe, quality, stressfree, and comfortable healthcare services. Opportunities for improvement include 1) Replacing fabric sofa with rexin/similar washable/wipable material, 2) include a hand-wash in the welcome kit in addition to a soap or place a refillable hand wash in the bathroom, 3) Instruct the housekeeping team to wipe the patient's side cabinet in their routine cleaning service.

    Think Twice Before Choosing This Hospital If you have any other options, please do not choose this hospital. Based on my one year of experience, this place has the worst staff I have ever encountered -- especially the nurses, reception staff, and duty managers. They are unprofessional, arrogant, and completely lack basic courtesy. I had posted a negative review earlier, and the hospital contacted me to apologize and promised to improve. However, nothing has changed. Their attitude remains the same, and it's clear that the apology was only to save face. I have worked in many hospitals both in India and abroad, and I have also been admitted to several hospitals as a patient. I have never seen staff like this anywhere else. It's unfortunate because most of the doctors here are excellent, they are the only reason people still choose this hospital. There are also other serious issues: Constant shortage of rooms: Patients are often kept in special care units unnecessarily, seemingly to inflate the final bill. ICU concern: There is a particular nurse in the ICU who, in my opinion, does not deserve to be in this profession. Please monitor your loved ones carefully if they are admitted to the ICU. If the management truly wants to offer better service, they need to either train the staff properly or replace them entirely. Until then, I strongly urge everyone to think carefully before coming to this hospital.

    I had a very disappointing experience at K.M. Cherian Hospital. The hospital may look good from the outside, but the management and service were not up to the mark. The staff, especially at the front desk, were not helpful or polite. There were long delays in basic procedures, and no proper communication was given about waiting times or next steps. The billing system was also confusing and seemed overpriced for the services provided. Cleanliness was also not maintained properly in some areas, especially in the washrooms. Overall, I expected better service from such a well-known hospital, but I was left frustrated and stressed. Definitely not recommending this place unless they seriously improve their management and patient care.

    I had a disappointing experience at KM Cherian Hospital. Despite the hospital's reputation, the management and coordination were very poor. The waiting time was unusually long even with a prior appointment, and there was a serious lack of communication between departments. Some of the staff were unresponsive and seemed indifferent to patient concerns. The billing process was also confusing and felt unreasonably expensive for the level of service provided. Cleanliness in some areas was below expectations for a healthcare facility. Overall, I felt that patient care and transparency should be significantly improved.

    had an excellent experience at Hospital during my recent visit. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with helpful receptionists who ensured I had all the necessary information. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The waiting area was comfortable, with ample seating and informative materials about health and wellness. During my appointment, I was seen promptly by Dr., who took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my well-being. The nursing staff was equally impressive--compassionate, knowledgeable, and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable.     I was admitted for 2 days here. The hospital has a great hospitality from doctors and staff.....Neat and clean atmosphere.... Very good rooms.... The bill amount was also reasonable...... Almost all departments are running properly.....I was received a welcome kit with useful items.... Food service in rooms was excellent...... Medisep is also available there.... Overall a nice hospital we can trust.....

    I recently visited the hospital for an orthopaedic consultation with Dr. Krishnakumar, and I would like to express my full satisfaction with the treatment I received. Dr. Krishnakumar was highly professional and attentive in his approach, and I am grateful for the care provided. I would also like to commend the administrative staff at the reception and the security personnel, who were helpful and guided patients in a courteous and professional manner. However, I would like to share a few suggestions based on my experience, which I believe could further improve patient satisfaction: 1. Waiting Time for MRI Scanning My MRI appointment was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but I had to wait until 7:00 PM for my turn. I understand that delays can sometimes occur due to unforeseen circumstances or a high volume of urgent cases, which may be beyond the control of the MRI staff. However, considering the widespread use of smartphones, it would be helpful if patients could receive real-time updates on appointment status/delays via SMS or WhatsApp. This would allow the patients to manage their time better instead of waiting for hours inside the hospital doing nothing. Alternatively, frequent training for the department staff on patient communication and queue management would be beneficial for the goodwill of the hospital. 2. X-Ray Report I also underwent an X-ray as advised by the doctor. However, I was only given the film in a pouch, without the radiologist's report. When I inquired about the report, the X-ray department staff informed me that it could be emailed upon request. Accordingly, I sent an email requesting the report, after which I received a call from the hospital stating that there would be an additional charge for it. This charge was not communicated to me either when I collected the film in person or when I initially requested the report. This suggests that the staff may not be adequately trained or fully aware of the procedures involved in obtaining the report, or that there is a gap in internal communication regarding these protocols. Regular training sessions could significantly enhance both staff efficiency and their awareness of hospital procedures, ensuring a smoother and more transparent experience for patients. 3. Quality of Food at the Hospital Restaurant I was surprised to find that the snacks served at the hospital restaurant were cold, oily and in the evening, some items had a bitter taste. It would be advisable to implement proper food safety standards and HACCP procedures. Installing warming cabinets or hot food display units could ensure that food remains at a safe and appetizing temperature throughout the day. Please consider the above as constructive suggestions meant to enhance the overall patient experience. I trust that your esteemed institution will take appropriate steps where necessary.
