Disappointed with the Service - Needs Serious Improvement I've had a bad experience at Najath Hospital twice now. While my previous visit had a good casualty doctor who was attentive, today was extremely disappointing. The doctor on duty seemed disinterested, barely communicated, and was busy using a mobile phone instead of focusing on the patient. The reception area was even worse -- overcrowded with around 30 patients and only *two receptionists* to handle everything. There was *no proper system* or space for casualty patients to take files quickly, causing more confusion and delay. A hospital should prioritize patient care and efficiency, especially in emergency cases. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their staff behavior, reception process, and overall service.

Patient Reviews
I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit to Najath Hospital, Aluva. I was very unwell with a high fever and could barely stand. Despite this, the receptionist showed no urgency or empathy--she continued counting money and chatting with a colleague while I stood there waiting. When I politely asked her to speed up the process, she didn't even respond. Later, at the pharmacy, I realized she had given me the registration slip of another patient. I was deeply concerned--what if I had unknowingly received someone else's medicines? When I pointed out the error, she casually blamed it on a "printer issue." This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially in a hospital setting where patient safety should be the top priority. I hope the hospital management looks into this seriously and ensures better training and accountability for front desk staff.
I am writing to share my recent experience during a consultation with Dr. Sagith (Pediatrician), which left us quite dissatisfied and concerned. During our visit, we felt that our concerns regarding our baby's health were not being properly heard or acknowledged. Instead of addressing the specific issues we raised, the doctor seemed to focus on unrelated matters. Additionally, we were quite taken aback when he abruptly threw away our baby's feeding bottle and insisted on stopping formula milk, without explaining his reasoning in a polite or reassuring manner. While we understand that doctors may have strong medical opinions, we believe such matters should be communicated respectfully and with consideration for the parents' perspective and emotional state.

From the moment I walked in until my discharge, every step of the process was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. The reception team was welcoming and quick in processing my admission. The nursing staff was attentive, compassionate, and always ready to assist, making my stay comfortable. Dr. Hijas provided excellent medical care, explaining everything clearly and ensuring I received the best treatment. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of quality healthcare!
Very bad experience at Najath Hospital. Staff were unprofessional and careless. Long waiting time even in emergency. Poor communication and zero empathy. Not recommended at all.
Dear NH Management, I hope this message finds you well. I recently had an experience at Najath Hospital that I would like to bring to your attention, along with some recommendations that could enhance the patient experience. On Monday morning, I booked a doctor consultation for Tuesday with a booking number of 83. I arrived at the hospital at 2 pm, at which time the current consulting booking number was 51. The office staff informed me that patients are required to report to the hospital before 1 pm and initially did not permit me to consult with the doctor. However, after discussing with the doctor, she agreed to see me, and the staff provided me with a token. This experience has highlighted a few areas for improvement in your booking process: 1. **Clear Communication of Reporting Times**: Patients should be clearly informed of the need to report before a specific time when booking their appointment. This information could be included in the booking confirmation message to avoid any confusion or inconvenience. 2. **Review of Reporting Time Requirement**: Please review the necessity of requiring patients to report before 1 pm. It would be helpful to understand the rationale behind this requirement and whether it can be adjusted to be more flexible for patients who may have other commitments. Ideally, the reporting time should be closely aligned with the consultation time to minimize waiting periods. 3. **Time Slot Allocation**: Implementing a time slot system for consultations would greatly improve the patient experience. Assigning specific time slots would reduce waiting times and ensure a more organized flow of patients. This system would also alleviate parking issues and overcrowding in the waiting area. 4. **Efficiency in Managing Patient Flow**: By adopting a time slot system, you can manage patient flow more efficiently, ensuring that both the doctors and patients can plan their time better, leading to a more streamlined and satisfactory consultation process. I believe that making these adjustments will significantly enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency at Najath Hospital. Thank you for considering my recommendations. I look forward to seeing these improvements implemented for the benefit of all patients. Best regards, Mansoor Thuyyadi Chek
