I visited Secure Hospital yesterday (Sunday) for a consultation regarding my 17-year-old son, who had been experiencing left-side chest pain for the past three days. Normally, for common health issues in the family, I consult a nearby BAMS practitioner who charges Rs.80/- per visit. However, considering the recent rise in heart-related issues among young individuals, I decided to consult a more qualified doctor and chose Secure Hospital for an OPD consultation. Upon arrival, the receptionist directed me to consult a doctor in a room displaying the nameplate: Dr. Sohan B., MBBS, MD (General Medicine). I assumed that although he is not a heart specialist, he would be more competent than a BAMS practitioner in diagnosing the issue. Inside the consultation room, I found two doctors on duty who interacted with my son. They checked his blood pressure, SPO2, and pulse rate--all of which were normal. They inquired about his symptoms and told me that an ECG could be done only if I wished. They said they couldn't advise whether the ECG was necessary and that the test would be performed solely upon my request. Alternatively, they offered to prescribe a painkiller and suggested we monitor the symptoms before proceeding further. I chose to wait and observe how the pain responded to the medication before opting for an ECG. Out of curiosity, I asked who among them was Dr. Sohan B. I was shocked to learn that neither of them was Dr. Sohan B--he was not attending the hospital that day due to it being a Sunday. Both doctors were simply duty doctors. The second disappointment came when I was asked to pay Rs.300/- at the reception. I requested a bill and was surprised to see that Rs.100/- was charged as a registration fee and Rs.200/- as a Sunday consultation fee for Dr. Sohan B--even though he was not present. I was further informed that Sunday consultation charges are higher than regular days. I want to make it clear that I have no objection to paying higher charges if the consultation is genuinely provided by a specialist doctor as claimed. However, charging patients in the name of a doctor who is not even present is highly unethical. It appears that the hospital operates on holidays using only duty doctors (possibly BAMS, BHMS, etc.) and still charges in the name of MBBS/MD specialists. In my opinion, this is misleading and unfair to patients who trust the hospital's name and credentials. I hope the hospital management looks into this practice and ensures transparency and fairness in its operations going forward.

Patient Reviews
We had a very positive experience at Secure Hospital Dr. Devika is an exceptionally skilled and experienced gynecologist She was very patient in explaining everything and gave us great confidence. Highly recommend Secure Hospital for anyone seeking quality healthcare.
Dr. Sridhar has been our family's trusted general physician for over 20 years. He is not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. Thanks to his guidance, my father was able to reverse his diabetes -- something we'll always be grateful for. He genuinely understands the needs of every patient, especially those from humble backgrounds. Along with Dr. Karthik, who is equally dedicated and kind, they are truly gems in the medical field. Honestly, I continue to visit the hospital only because of these two wonderful doctors..... Five stars for the doctors

The staff were very caring and attentive during my stay The doctors and nurses were very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly.Thank you for the excellent service and care provided. I would highly recommend this hospital to others.
It was nice visiting the secure hospital because the hospital atmosphere is good and and the doctor's are really good at interacting with the patient's. But the concern is all facilities are not available in the hospital like they will redirect to other diagnosis centres for scanning and all except that no other drawbacks.
