Dr. Kangaroo Care - Women and Children Hospital in Mysore

I'm happy to share that i recently became a father and the amazing part of it was the kangaroo care. From the time of admission to discharge everything was seamless. Every staff we interacted at kangaroo care hospital was very helpful whenever we needed them and always came forward for help. Special Mention to Dr Lokeshwari mam, from the time of conceive till delivery she was a goto person, she treated my wife in every aspect and she's more like a friend. I thank all the staff members and Dr Lokeshwari mam for their valuable support.

I would like to thank Dr veena Keerthi for her guidance and good care throughout our pregnancy journey and she treated us more like like a family. During post- delivery also she took good care by visiting regularly. Special thanks to Mr Aveen (radiologist) for giving us proper explanation and information in each scanning, And also we should appreciate the good hospitality from Ms Divya (Staff nurse) and Mrs Pallvi (Receptionist). Finally good hospital good care towards ours beautiful journey. Team Kangaroo care deserve only 4 star because after our bed booking also no one explained about benifits of it and not received invitation for any kind of baby shower and other events what they offer in booking time. Any how, Thank you.

During the initial regular check-ups for my wife, I used to think why Dr. Rashmi Kishore comes so late and is not punctual with time and makes us wait. But when I got my wife admitted to hospital, I realized that doctor is so much workaholic and visits hospital 24 hours (on call), even at late night she visited us in the hospital; and personally attends to all the labor of her patients. Most of the hospital nowadays prefer C-section than the normal delivery, however Dr. Rashmi will always push and comforts us for normal deliveries. Thank you Dr.Rashmi for the excellent care you provided my wife for past 10 months & prior to it. We are grateful for the exceptional support you provided during labor and delivery of my little Angel Vanisha. Your kindness and dedication are truly appreciated. The hospital nursing staff, especially Kavya is exceptional with her duties; she is very kind and soft spoken towards patients. Kudos Kavya for your dedication to work and empathy towards patients. Cons: I was bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the patient's ward room including the linen there, its not worth the charges they ask us to pay (and we are not allowed to use our own); also there is not much space to sit outside the OT room for the patient party & security staff are not kind towards people and act like Police. Rating: I would like to give 5 Stars to the doctors (especially for Dr. Rashmi Kishore & Dr. Spurthi Sagar) & nursing staff (Kavya & team) of Kangaroo Care Mysore. 5 star for the ground floor ambience and service. But 3 Star for room cleanliness (bathroom & old linens) & its ambience. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors, Much respect and gratefulness for what you do. Praying for God's protection as you perform your selfless acts of love and caring. Note for the expecting mothers, you can safely avail OBG service from Dr. Rashmi Kishore (rest assured you are in safe hands :-) ). Also ensure to visit Himalaya store (lots of free goodies); and the toy & clothing shop in the ground floor of the hospital.

Had a baby shower arranged by Kangaroo Care. It was really fun. Also Dr. Rashmi has been guiding me through out the pregnancy. Every consultation with her gives me lot of confidence.

The real heroes of this place are the nurses, all of them amazing and just raised the bar in terms of care and service. Kudos to the hospital management for having such an amazing staff, please make sure that they are well taken care of. The doctors were great too, but as in any hospital, the doctors are there during consultation or during the operation, the nurses are the one who are with us the rest of the time.

We faced many complications during our pregnancy journey, but Dr. Rashmi kishor provided exceptional care and support throughout this challenging time. We are deeply grateful to her. Heartfelt Thanks also to Dr. Shruthi Purushotham, Dr.Shubha who took excellent care of our baby in the NICU at Kangaroo care hospital for over a month. We are thankful to Dr. Spurthi Sagar for her scanning and valuable suggestions during exceptional pregnancy. We are also very thankful to all the doctors, especially the entire NICU nursing team, for their dedication and compassionate care.

I just wanted to give my honest reviwe. It's really sad to tell not worth for our money. We choosen this hospital with so much of expectations that we may get a good service. But it's completely wrong. facilities are to be asked, from the cleaning person to care takers. To change bedcover,nurse to change drip or for any assistance, Actually we pre-booked our bed 2 month before only, still there was no proper arrangement of it. when we arrived to the hospital for surgery, then finally we got adjusted for the arrangements made by hospital. overall we felt very bad hospitality as few meny of the staff whom we met behaiour was very unprofessional. specialy had a very bad experience at OPD. a lady in Anastacia team behaves very hursh. that I was little norvas she enquired about our previous surgery done hospital and passed the comment like (you would have not given this kind of VIP treament in that hospital).this felt very unprofessional. In that situation I was not in a condition to answer her, so I kept quite. I don't know her name still wanted to answer her now. 'hello madam ji your not treating us for free of cost' Totally I'm unhappy with the hospitality they provided. The hospital cost is little high....but thats realy ok,main thing is we are paying for good treatment and also expecting good service. we are finally felt not worth for our money. If I wanted to mention anything positive I wanted to thank dr.leelavathi mam for her good guidance & treament. Also staff nurse amrutha for her senciour service.

There are not enough words to describe how thankful we are for your wonderful care during my pregnancy & delivery.. Because of your professionalism and great smiles, we felt like we were in good hands and that gave us peace of mind towards the big day and most precious gift of our life!!" We are all home happy and healthy because of all the love and support we have received over the last few months.
